Stop Romanticising Terrorism. Facts Matter

Nnamdi Kanu (MNK), leader of IPOB, has a documented history of inciting violence and funding terror in Nigeria. Here are the facts:

✅ Public Calls for Violence
MNK openly instructed that Nigerian security personnel be killed. These statements were widely circulated on social media and later presented as evidence in court.

✅ Sit-at-Home Kill Orders
He ordered that anyone violating IPOB’s Sit-at-Home directives in the South-East should be killed. People were attacked and killed based on these orders. Evidence of this was tendered during trial.

✅ Funding Armed Groups
MNK raised and sent money to armed groups in the South-East, which carried out deadly attacks on civilians and security operatives. The prosecution proved these links in court.

✅ Refusal to Defend Himself
He was given the chance to defend himself but voluntarily opted out.

Nigeria is paying the price for tolerating terrorism under the guise of tribal or ideological sympathy.
Yes, terrorists exist in other regions, but creating or protecting another terrorist does not “balance” anything—it only deepens insecurity.
