*Memory Verse:* “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith,” Mark 11:23.

The words you speak are seeds awaiting harvest. When you speak miracle words they never fail just as when you speak victory words. Drawing straight from scriptures, you will have victory harvest. This is the hidden force behind the triumphant saints. Let God's word frame your life and you build your most holy faith. Jesus said "Whosoever shall say... He shall have whatever he saith". But this is only possible if you do not doubt in your heart.
A lot of believers are being robbed of their blessings today because their mouths are closed. Like the saying "A closed mouth is a closed destiny". Look at that mountain in your life and say what you believe God has said concerning you against it, then you will see it level.
Many are doing it, but few are saying it. Until you say it, do not ever expect to see it. The three Hebrew boys looked at the threatening fiery furnace and declared: "If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up,” Daniel 3:17-18. At this point, God did not let them down! You know why? As soon as those words went forth, angels messed up the furnace.
Please embrace this mystery of faith and confession. It is the power house of the triumphant believer. What you cannot say, you will never see. Even God never saw until He said.

*Food for Thought:*
What you cannot say, you will never see.

*Prayer:*
Father in heaven, as I confess Your word over my life, it must surely come to pass.

MEMORISE: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: Colossians 1:16

READ: Ephesians 2:1-10
1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

MESSAGE
No matter how long you spend on earth, you will never see a tree that eats its own fruit. Trees are planted by human beings for their pleasure, not for the pleasure of the trees. In the same way, God made you for His own pleasure. You were not made to satisfy yourself; you were made to satisfy Him. Therefore, when people live their lives just to give themselves pleasure, they are malfunctioning.

Having lots of money, driving good cars and owning houses does not mean that someone has fulfilled his or her destiny because all those things are for the fellow's pleasure. Destiny is not measured by how much money you have or how powerful you become; it is measured by the degree to which you are doing the will of God for your life. For example, someone might have seen Joseph as the Prime Minister of Egypt and said, "This guy has made it! He is fulfilling destiny because of the exalted position that he has attained," but if Joseph did not save his family from the famine as God had created him to do (Genesis 45:1-11), he would have been a failure. There will be many rich people who will finish their races here on earth, and rather than them being told, "Well done thou good and faithful servant," they will hear, "Thou wicked and slothful servant." I pray this will not be your portion, in Jesus' name.

Beloved, it is good to be rich, famous, and powerful, but even when those things come, you will still not be fulfilled unless you do the will of God. Don't chase shadows; chase God's calling for your life. It seemed foolish when I left lecturing to pastor a small church. However, because that was the will of God for my life, it was the best decision I ever made. In fulfilling His will, God gave me all that I could ever ask for and more.

A tree that bears fruits for its owner to eat will be taken care of. The owner will give it all the nutrients and care that it needs to flourish. When you pursue God's will for your life, He will ensure that you never lack any good thing. Ask Him what His purpose for your life is and pursue it.

KEY POINT
Pursue God's purpose for your life.

HYMN 7: I AM THINE O LORD
1. I am Thine, O Lord, I have heard Thy voice,
And it told Thy love to me;
But I long to rise in the arms of faith
And be closer drawn to Thee.

a. Refrain:
Draw me nearer, nearer blessed Lord,
To the cross where Thou hast died;
Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer blessed Lord,
To Thy precious, bleeding side.

2. Consecrate me now to Thy service, Lord,
By the pow’r of grace divine;
Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope,
And my will be lost in Thine.

3. Oh, the pure delight of a single hour
That before Thy throne I spend,
When I kneel in prayer, and with Thee, my God
I commune as friend with friend!

4. There are depths of love that I cannot know
Till I cross the narrow sea;
There are heights of joy that I may not reach
Till I rest in peace with Thee.

*Memory Verse:* “So Abram departed as the LORD had spoken unto him,” Genesis 12:4a.

Most believers think that faith is just believing God. No, for even the devil also believes and trembles, James 2:9.
Look at the Life of Abraham, a man that stood out as an example of faith that works. Immediately he heard God’s call, he departed... No excuses, no delay.
When God asked him to circumcise all the males in his house as a sign of his covenant with Him, that same day, Abraham circumcised himself and his sons, Genesis 17:23.
When God asked him to sacrifice Isaac, his son, he obeyed immediately without consulting anybody, even his own wife. “And he said, Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you. So Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him,” Genesis 22:2-3.
Faith is not just believing God; it is obeying God thereby committing Him to perform His word.

*Food for Thought:*
Faith is not just believing God; it is obeying His word.

*Prayer:*
Father in the name of Jesus, I receive grace to always obey Your word all the days of my life.

MESSAGE
One thing that everyone who is born again must learn is that the Christian walk is not a sprint but a marathon. I have been born again since 1973, and I am still on the journey until now. We were told back then, "Jesus is coming soon.” ‘Soon' has run into more than 51 years now, and we are still awaiting His arrival. This tells you that without perseverance, you cannot win in the Christian race. It is good that you resisted temptation yesterday and did not fall, but that is not enough to ensure that you will remain standing until the end. You must also resist the temptation that is coming tomorrow. If a believer relaxes because of the things, he or she has overcome in the past, it is likely that the fellow will be brought down by future temptations.

It is in perseverance that many Christians fail. The devil knows that if he brings temptation to you once, you might not fall. However, he knows that if he keeps bringing the temptation over and over again in different forms and intensities, one day, when you are relaxed spiritually, you will likely fall. This is why having oil for today is good, but you must always have extra oil for tomorrow. The ten virgins in Matthew 25:1-13 were all virgins, meaning that they were all pure. They all had oil which signifies the Holy Spirit, but while they were waiting for the arrival of the Groom, they all slept because the Groom tarried. However, only the ones with extra oil were able to meet with the Groom. Proverbs 24:10 says:

If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

You must be prepared for the day of adversity. Believe me, without extra strength, you will not be able to persevere until the end. Therefore, read your Bible beyond what you need for today, pray longer hours than you need for today, and serve God more fervently than is necessary for today. Doing these will build in you the strength that you need to persevere. Many people have yielded to fraud in their offices because the oil finished, and they didn't have extra to keep them on fire. Some yielded to fornication and adultery because their strength failed. Don't make this mistake; get extra oil always.

KEY POINT
Your fire needs to last until rapture or when you are called home.

HYMN 31: YIELD NOT TO TEMPTATION
1. Yield not to temptation, for yielding is sin;
Each vict’ry will help you some other to win;
Fight manfully onward, dark passions subdue;
Look ever to Jesus, He will carry you through.

o Refrain:
Ask the Savior to help you,
Comfort, strengthen, and keep you;

He will carry you through.

2. Shun evil companions, bad language disdain,
God’s name hold in rev’rence, nor take it in vain;
Be thoughtful and earnest, kindhearted and true;
Look ever to Jesus, He will carry you through.

3. To him that o’ercometh, God giveth a crown,

*Memory Verse:* “Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes,” (Song of Songs 2:15).

We are duty bound to keep ourselves and home clean. It is universally quoted "Cleanliness is next to godliness". Many diseases and conditions can be prevented or controlled through appropriate personal and environmental hygiene. And this must be a practice in our daily life as "preventive measures". Note that
(1) Cleanliness promotes mental clarity.
(2) Clean environment automatically boosts our self-confidence.
(3) It gives a fresh and good look on our surrounding.
(4) It maximizes the entry of intruders such as snake, scorpion, cockroaches etc.
(5) It gives rise to a good character by keeping body, mind and soul clean and peaceful.
(6) It enables us to enjoy good health and spend less on medical treatment.
(7) It leads to social acceptability and emotional stability.
Neglecting cleanliness can be disgusting, disrespectful and threatening to individual and family life. We must not destroy our health through negligence and errors. Healthy living is God's will for us, (3 John 1:2).

*Food for Thought:*
Neglecting cleanliness can be disgusting, disrespectful and threatening to family life.

*Prayers:*

THEME: WORK

MEMORISE: I the LORD search the heart, l try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. Jeremiah 17:10

READ: Proverbs 22:28-29
28 Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.

29 Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.

MESSAGE
The Bible makes it plain that God values work. Whether you're a full-time parent, bus driver, artist, or engineer, God is concerned about your work, as long as what you do for a living is legitimate. Work is a major component of God's overall plan for man. In the
Garden of Eden, after God made man, He told him to tend the garden (Genesis 2:15). This means that any man that does not work is malfunctioning because man was made to work.

The value of work is inherent. Work gives pleasure, which is why some retired people are still working even after their retirement. There is no pleasure in just sitting around from morning until night-time, doing nothing. Many wealthy people fall into depression when they feel like they have made a lot of money and don't need to work anymore. There is no pleasure in accomplishing nothing. For example, when you work on a garden, you will get a lot of pleasure when you see the fruits in that garden begin to blossom.

The memory verse for today says that God will give every man according to the fruit of his doings, so if a fellow does nothing, he or she will get nothing. This is why 2 Thessalonians 3:1 0 says:

For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

The reason God gave you talents is so that you can put them to work. If a believer does not use his or her talents, he or she will answer to God on the last day (Matthew 25:14-30). God cannot condone laziness at all. John 5:17 says:

But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.

If God is working, He will not allow you to be lazy. My God is not a God of lazy people. If a believer is lazy and is asking God for blessings, He will ignore such a believer. Working hard is a godly value, and laziness is ungodly. You cannot claim to be a Christian and yet be lazy. Even if you are unemployed, pray to God and find something that you can do to contribute positively to the society, no matter how small it may be. From doing this, God will open greater doors for you. You cannot afford to lie around doing nothing; it is against God's plan for you

KEY POINT
No lazy fellow can receive anything good from God.

1. There shall be showers of blessing:
This is the promise of love;
There shall be seasons refreshing,
Sent from the Savior above.

o Refrain:
Showers of blessing,
Showers of blessing we need:
Mercy-drops round us are falling,
But for the showers we plead.

2. There shall be showers of blessing,
Precious reviving again;
Over the hills and the valleys,
Sound of abundance of rain.

3. There shall be showers of blessing;
Send them upon us, O Lord;
Grant to us now a refreshing,
Come, and now honor Thy Word.

4. There shall be showers of blessing:
Oh, that today they might fall,
Now as to God we’re confessing,
Now as on Jesus we call!

5. There shall be showers of blessing,
If we but trust and obey;
There shall be seasons refreshing,
If we let God have His way.

47. And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

48. Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

*MESSAGE:*

For many Christians, when they are having a dispute with someone, they tend to forget that they are still born again.

As they don’t seem to like a fellow or the fellow doesn’t like them, they treat him or her badly.

Jesus Christ said in *Luke 6:35* that you must not only love your enemies, you should also be kind to them.

When you know the right things to do for people, whether you are on good terms with them or not, do it.

The Bible says that it is sinful for you to know something good that you are supposed to do and not do it.

*James 4:17* says:
*Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.*

Don’t victimise someone with your position because the person is not your friend.

Whether you are the one who is right or not does not matter, the moment you decide to victimise them, you become the one who is wrong.

In the Bible reading for today, Jesus Christ said clearly that you are not to repay evil with evil, rather, you are to repay evil with good.

The reason for this is that He does not want your heart to abhor any form of corruption or evil at all.

Apostle Paul said that when you decide to avenge yourself or repay evil for evil, you are letting evil overcome you.

*Romans 12:20-21* says:
*Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.*

The Scripture above says that you should love, care for, and even provide for those that hate you.

You shouldn’t relate with people based on whether they love you or not or on how they treat you; you should relate with them based on how God wants you to.

Don’t let evil overcome you in a bid to repay someone or show them how powerful you are.

If evil overcomes you, it means that you are now on the side of the devil as opposed to the side of God.

I will conclude this teaching with the words of Apostle Paul in *Romans 12:18:* If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

*KEY POINT:*
Whether you are on good terms with someone or not, be good to them.

*HYMN 30:*
*WHEN WE WALK WITH THE LORD*

1.When we walk with the Lord,
In the light of His word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will
He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.

*REFRAIN:*
Trust and obey!
For there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus,
But to trust and obey.

2.But we never can prove
The delights of His love,
Until all on the altar we lay,
For the favour He shows
And the joy He bestows
Are for them who will trust and obey. [Refrain]

3.Then in fellowship sweet
We will sit at His feet,
Or we’ll walk by His side in the way,
What He says we will do,
Where He sends we will go,
Never fear, only trust and obey. [Refrain]

*Text:* 2 Corinthians 13:4-8
*Memory Verse:* “Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD,” (Lamentations 3:40).

SWOT analysis in this very context should be seen as a framework for identifying, evaluating and analyzing your marital life and performance. This enables you to check and balance with the aim of making good decisions to improve or add value to your home. The acronym SWOT means Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Threat.
(1) Strength: These are positive performances that excite a partner or both in the marriage. Let us appreciate the strength of one another. This stirs up more commitment and builds a stronger bond.

(2) Weakness: These are limitations or setbacks in marriage. Weakness can be transformed into testimony if the couples align their mindset for progress. Do not capitalize on your partner’s weakness. It stagnates progress.

(3) Opportunity: Marriage comes with great opportunities. Take notice of these opportunities and hold unto one another in agreement and to explore.

(4) Threats: These are little foxes that are ought to be handled in marriage. They can cause pain, suffering, separation or divorce. Identify them, prevent them and avoid them in your home. Neglecting them could be destructive to your marriage or family.

*Food for Thought:*
Negligence to marital threats is destructive.

10. For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

11. And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

12. That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

13. For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,

14. Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.

*MESSAGE:*

When I got born again in The Redeemed Christian Church of God, those that served in the church were not called workers, they were called children of God. There was a reason behind that.

When a child gets to his father's house and sees that things are not placed where they should be, he or she naturally starts putting things right.

However, when a visitor comes into that same house, he or she will simply find a place to sit and remain there.

If you see God as your father, whenever you get to His house, you will do whatever you can to make things work smoothly.

You wouldn't go to your father's house and not care about the outlook and advancement of the place.

There are many benefits of being a worker in God's house.

One of them is stated in *2 Timothy 2:6:*
*The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.*

Because you are a husbandman, one who is cultivating the land to produce fruits for everyone, you will be the first partaker of those fruits.

In other words, when you work to make services run smoothly, you will be the first partaker of the blessings and miracles that happen in those services.

No one works for God without getting reward.

*Hebrews 6:10* says it clearly:
*For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour to love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.*

God will never forget whatever labour you do out of love for Him.

God decreed in *Leviticus 19:13* that no labourer must be denied his or wages.

Do you think He will not reward you for working directly with Him?

Your wages when you work for Him include protection, provision, a sound mind, deliverance, speedy answers to prayers, and a whole lot more.

While it is fine for a church to employ or pay professionals for some services, I always tell church members who are adamant about charging a fee for rendering any service without being employed by the church that they shouldn't expect anything from God again, as they cannot get paid twice for the same service.

As a worker in a church, once you insist on getting paid money for any service you render in the church, you have made yourself a hireling in His house and not a child.

*REFLECTION:*
Are you really a child of God or just a visitor in His house?

*HYMN 4:*
*TO THE WORK! TO THE WORK! WE ARE SERVANTS OF GOD*

1. To the work! to the work! we are servants of God,
Let us follow the path that our Master has trod;
With the might of His power our strength to renew,
Let us do by His grace what He calls us to do.
Work for Him by His grace;
Work thru Him for His praise;
Work with Him all the days;
And work in Him in many ways.

2. To the work! to the work! let the hungry be fed;
To the fountain of life let the thirsty be led;
In the cross and its vict’ry our glory shall be,
While we herald the tidings, “Salvation is free!”

3. To the work! to the work! in the strength of the Lord,
By the pow’r of His Name, with the light of His Word,
All the slaves of the darkness of Satan set.

TOPIC: HARMONY (UNITY)

*Text:* Genesis 11:1-9

*Memory Verse:* “Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous,” (1Peter 3:8).

God commanded the flow of blessing at the platform of unity (Psalm 133:1-3). He does not invest in an unfruitful ground, (Matthew 25:24-30). Therefore, no meaningful growth and development shall ever be recorded at the atmosphere of disharmony. Unity is of great advantage in so many ways:
(1) Unity establish path for peace, comfort and progress.
(2) It scares enemy thereby ensuring marital security and victorious living.
(3) It forms unbreakable walls against intruders aiming at destroying homes.
(4) Actualizing marital goals and purpose becomes unstoppable where unity is established.
God's testimony about the strength and the bond of unity should not be taken for granted "Behold the people have one language and this they begin to do and now nothing will be restrained from which they have imagined to do," (Genesis 11:6).
Jesus advocates that "They may be one". Indeed, this is a language of Harmony and progress. If Satan intends destroying a home, he first sows a seed of discord to disrupt everything (Genesis 3:9-13). What stopped the Tower of Babel project was the introduction of "language differences" among the people. Couples ought to dwell in understanding, embrace oneness and remain strong to enjoy marital blessings, (Amos 3:3).

*Food for Thought:*
Language differences breed stagnation while oneness embraces progress in family.

*Prayers:*
Oh my dear Father, help us to dwell in understanding with one another in this marriage. Let every seed of discord be destroyed in Jesus name.
