šØ THE MAN AT AGRIC ROAD šØ
I saw this man today⦠right there at Agric Road, opposite FMC in Asaba, toolbox in hand, sweat glistening on his face. His phone rang, it was a client. I overheard part of the call.
āHello, ma⦠Iām already at Parkinson, just checking something quickly,ā he said, voice firm and confident.
But hereās the twist, the client had already driven past Agric Road just minutes earlier and saw him right there.
That one lie, may have just cost him a good job.
He didnāt know the client had seen him. He didnāt know that one small twist of the tongue could twist his reputation forever.
And thatās the sad part, in the hustle to please everyone, some artisans and workmen forget the foundation of their craft isnāt just skill. It's trust.
Your work can speak for you, yes, but your character shouts louder.
One lie today can close ten doors tomorrow.
Integrity isnāt optional in business, itās currency.
Clients may forgive mistakes, but they rarely forgive dece!t.
So to every artisan, craftsman, or workman reading thisš
š¹ If you canāt make it, say so.
š¹ If youāre delayed, explain it.
š¹ If youāre wrong, own it.
Because one honest word can build what a thousand l!es will destroy.
š I didnāt confront him, but I walked away thinking:
If only he knew the job he just lost by trying to āsound smart.ā
