: I owe my peaceful reign to Almighty God, says Olokpe of Okpe.

His Royal Highness, Oba Okhishimede Eshimokhai Idogu III, JP, OON, the Olokpe of Okpe Kingdom in Akoko-Edo Local Government Area, Edo State, South-South Nigeria has said that he owes his peaceful reign to Almighty God and none else.
Reminiscing on the journey so far, t ofhe Akoko-Edo Lion King praised God for His unending faithfulness, especially in the maintenance of law and order throughout the kingdom.
He thanked Him for the quality of men and women who He surrounded him with since he ascended the highly exalted throne of his forefathers.
His Royal Highness, Oba Okhishimede Eshimokhai Idogu III, JP, OON, the Olokpe of Okpe Kingdom told that he would continue to lean on God and the quality of men and women who He had blessed him with in the rulership of his Kingdom.
"Looking backward, I, indeed, saw God's unending faithfulness at work, both in my life and family and my kingdom. He has done much for us", he stressed.
The coronation anniversary marking thirty-five years of the revered first-class traditional ruler in Edo State has been scheduled to hold on Saturday, 26th November, 2022 at Saint Paul's Anglican Church, Okpe, followed by entertainment of guests.
Top government functionaries, traditional rulers, religious leaders, captains of industry and a host of others are expected at the historic event.
