INVESTING IN PEOPLE: MY SEPTEMBER MESSAGE TO NDI ANAMBRA SOUTH

Umunne m, Ndi Anambra South,

I heartily welcome you all to the beautiful month of September.

I pray that this new month may bring you peace in your homes, progress in your businesses and endeavours, good health, and open doors for you and your families. May September be a month of blessings, opportunities, and growth for every community in Anambra South.

As we step into this month, I am reminded that our greatest strength is our people. We can unlock our world with ideas, especially ideas anchored on human capital development. If I'm given the mandate as your Senator in January, my focus will be on human capital development. I will work to attract opportunities that empower our youths, support our women, strengthen our schools, and improve the welfare of families.

But this vision can only come to fruition when we work together to ensure that the will of the people prevails. With unity, hard work, and partnership, we can build the Anambra South that we all desire.

Once again, I wish you all a fruitful and prosperous new month.

Leadership is not measured by words alone but by the lives touched, opportunities created, and lasting impact made in the society.

Chief Ebuka Onunkwo has consistently demonstrated a commitment to empowering the youths and improving the lives of the people of Anambra South through various initiatives focused on youth empowerment, human-capacity development, education, employment, and community development.

From supporting young people to acquiring valuable skills, including opportunities to develop their capacities beyond Nigeria, to providing scholarships and educational assistance for students from less-privileged backgrounds, his interventions have continued to make a meaningful difference.

His contribution to education also includes support for school infrastructure, payment of school fees, and sustained assistance to schools in his community. For over two decades, his support for education at Ihembosi Secondary School has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to investing in the future of our children.

Chief Ebuka Onunkwo’s vision goes beyond personal success. It is a vision centred on creating opportunities, encouraging investment, empowering young people, and building a stronger economic future for Anambra South and Anambra State.

A clear example is his decision to establish the SEA HORSE Lubricants Industries Limited at Ozubulu in Ekwusigo Local Government Area. Beyond being a business venture, the factory represents an investment in the local economy and a source of employment for many young people and residents of Anambra.

At a time when insecurity and economic uncertainty have challenged businesses across the state, the decision to continue investing in Anambra demonstrates a strong belief in the potential of our people and our homeland.

The philosophy is simple: when our youths have meaningful employment and opportunities to build their future, they are better positioned to contribute positively to society.

For Chief Ebuka Onunkwo, development must begin at home. Rather than taking opportunities away from Anambra, he believes in creating more opportunities within the state and encouraging other investors to do the same.

UFUMA WOMEN WELCOME CHIEF EBUKA ONUNKWO WITH JOY, ENDORSE HIS SENATORIAL AMBITION

It was an atmosphere filled with joy, excitement, and genuine love today as Chief Ebuka Onunkwo, the Odozi Obodo, stormed the Ufuma Women General Meeting at Ufuma Hall.

The women welcomed him with open arms, creating a memorable atmosphere that reflected the growing acceptance and goodwill surrounding his aspiration to represent the good people of Anambra South at the Senate.

One of the major highlights of the event was when Chief Ebuka Onunkwo noticed a woman recording the proceedings with a Nokia torchlight phone. Moved by the situation, Odozi Obodo immediately gifted her ₦150,000 to enable her purchase a smartphone and improve her access to modern technology.

In another touching moment, Chief Ebuka Onunkwo also rewarded a woman who publicly testified to his capacity, character, and commitment to the welfare of Ndi Igbo. She spoke passionately about how Odozi Obodo has consistently supported, sheltered, and protected Ndi Igbo living in the Benin Republic, emphasizing that he has never allowed Igbos in Cotonou to suffer or feel abandoned in times of difficulty.

These are the little but impactful gestures that continue to define Chief Ebuka Onunkwo, leadership that goes beyond words, politics that touches lives, and a heart that responds to the needs of the people.

At the end of the meeting, the women of Ufuma, in a show of solidarity and confidence, unanimously endorsed Chief Ebuka Onunkwo for the Senate, expressing their readiness to support his journey to the Red Chamber.
