I just found this picture, so it was taken in the year 2015 when I went to imo state to straighten the leg manually.... The kind of pàin I received that year is not something I'll forget so soon... I haven't felt that kind of pàin in my life before....

I stayed there all by myself for months, I crîed and prayed to God everyday for a miracle to just happen so I can go back home....

I didn't go to school there, till when I almost wanted to go back home...

First stage of the leg, I was using a stick as a support to work, they tied stick to my leg with bandage, I sustained so many injûries on my leg cause of the stick and bandage...

The fresh injûry you see on the leg lasted for a year plus before it healed, and this type of injûry is an open one oo...

I wasn't even fèeding very well, I was soo thîn with lots of mosquîto bîtes màrk on my body...

The reason I went back home was that I was very sîck to the poînt of dîeing, I was làcking blóód ,so they called my mom and she rushed back to carry me home...

That was how I left that place... These are some of the memories that I cannot forget, I'm gonna share it to my kids someday...

I'm just grateful for life and how far GOD has brought me ❤️❤️🤗

First picture is my graduation into primary school and that was how I look like including my leg...
Second picture is in my senior secondary school, and I went to straighten the leg again,then I was asked not to wear slippers with the leg... I walked barefooted on one of my leg to any destination I went to,it was embarrassing tho but all was for the best....
Till one day I decided inside of me to start wearing slippers on the leg

Let me be honest with you guys, one food that always seems difficult for me sometimes to prepare is stew..... Sometimes it comes out well and sometimes it doesn't, when it comes to soup or other meal I'm good in it but for stew it always comes and goes....
The difficulty there is the frying of the tomato to remove it's sour taste, I fry tomatoes for long and for fresh tomatoes I cook it to dry the water first before grinding and frying together with the Tin tomatoes....
I fit fry tomatoes today and it will be good,then tomorrow it won't really be bad and again I cook according to how my parents wants their meal to be, so no be my fault....
But regardless we still keep making effort, left for me alone I can go months without cooking stew because of that frying,I try different dish I see online but in my family house I cook as they want me to....
So no be my fault 😩😩🥴

Sometimes I sit and just smile at how far I’ve come not because I’ve “made it”, but because I didn’t give up when things got tough.
Life isn't fair but somehow, I’m still standing. Still pushing. Still believing.
There were days I woke up tired, confused, and broke but I still showed up.
I still tried to post something, do something, even when nothing seemed to be working.
Some people don’t know the half of it. They just see small progress and say “you’re doing well.”
If only they knew how many tears came before those little wins 😌

I’m not where I want to be yet but I’m surely not where I used to be.
And that’s enough reason to thank God.

So to anyone out there still trying, still figuring life out don’t rush yourself.
The process might be slow, but you’re growing.
Keep your faith strong, your mind focused, and your spirit unbroken.
Na small small we go reach there ...
