✅Updated Programs: Some schools of nursing have transitioned to colleges, allowing them to offer ND/HND programs.

✅No Preliminary Training Session (PTS): When you enter through JAMB, you won’t have to go through the PTS (weeding) phase.

✅Advanced Degree Opportunities: With an HND, you can convert to a BNS in one year or pursue a PGD, followed by a master's degree.

✅Flexible Payment Options: Some colleges of nursing offer installment payment plans.

✅Internship and NYSC: You will participate in internships and the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), similar to university students.

✅Lower JAMB Score Requirement: The required JAMB score for entry into colleges of nursing is relatively low.

Different routes and certificates for nursing students in Nigeria.

RN: registered nurse (basic nursing 3yrs)

ND: National Diploma

HND: Honorary National Diploma.

If you enter without jamb, you get only RN.

If you enter with jamb, you get RN,RM,RPH ND/HND(college of nursing, it's a four years program)

You can get the above certificates in nursing school and college of nursing respectively.

As for University 💫🔥BNSc, RPH, RM, RN, NYSC cert.
