Dear Freshers,

HOLIDAY IS NOT GRADUATION

With just a few days to Christmas, I believe many of you have already gone on holiday in preparation for the celebrations.

As you enjoy your Christmas break, I would like to remind you that you are only just beginning your academic journey. Going on holiday is not graduation. School will resume, and after resumption will come lectures, tests, and examinations.

So, while you celebrate this Christmas, do not forget that academic work awaits you after the holiday. Do not forget your assignments, tests, and exams.

Celebrate, but do not let the celebration make you forget that you are still a student. Do not let the excitement of the season distract you from your academic responsibilities.

If you want to do well academically and graduate with good grades, remember that you are still in school. Do not forget your books. Find time, even in the midst of the Christmas celebration, to study.
Remember: you are only on holiday. Holiday is not graduation.
