Some gestures go beyond money — they speak volumes of loyalty, trust, and heart.
Yesterday , I was simply at my office, going about my usual activities, when I received a call from a colleague. Obinna Joseph He asked for my studio's address. I thought it was just one of those casual visits or maybe a quick inquiry.
But then he said something that made me pause and smile in deep reflection:
“Make you chop my money Instead of another person, I want a birthday picture.”
That wasn’t just a statement. It was a powerful expression of friendship, support, and solidarity.
It meant: I believe in your craft.
It meant: You matter.
It meant: I’d rather uplift someone I know than watch a stranger benefit from what you rightfully deserve.
Minutes later, he walked into my studio — not for a chat, not for a favor — but to patronize my service. To take professional birthday portraits, and he did so graciously, not even with one or two pictures, but with few thousand naira worth of photographs.
These are the moments that remind you why you started. These are the quiet, beautiful affirmations that your work is not in vain. That people are watching, appreciating, and rooting for you — even silently.
To you, Odogwu, Obinna Joseph you didn’t just come for pictures.
You came to encourage, to support, and to remind me that true friends show up not just with words, but with actions.
On your special day, you still chose to honour my craft.
From all of us at Kdigit Media, we say:
Thank you for thinking of us.
Thank you for trusting us.
Happy Birthday, Odogwu.
You are truly one of one.
Here’s to more wins, more memories, and more reasons to celebrate you.
