Faith Over Fear: The Victory is Yours!
“Child of God, you were not called to live in fear!”
Fear is a spirit, and it has no power over you unless you give it permission. But listen: you have been given the spirit of faith. The Bible says, “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God” (Romans 10:17). That means faith is activated by what you hear, and you must guard your heart from fear-filled words!
When fear comes, what do you do? You rise up in faith! You speak the Word of God over your situation because the Word is the antidote to fear! When Jesus walked on the water and Peter began to sink, it wasn’t because the waves were too big. It was because Peter took his eyes off the Word. He listened to the voice of fear instead of faith.
But listen! You are not like Peter. You are a new creation in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17)! You are full of the Holy Ghost, full of the Word, full of faith! You are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37)! Fear has no place in your life.
The Bible says, “God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). Fear comes to attack your mind, to paralyze you. But faith gives you the power to overcome every fear, every obstacle, every challenge! When you rise up in faith, mountains move (Mark 11:23). When you speak in faith, doors open (Revelation 3:8)
Faith over fear means you choose to believe God’s Word above what you see, above what you feel, above every circumstance. Fear cannot dominate you when your faith is active and alive!
So today, declare:
“I walk by faith, and not by sight!” (2 Corinthians 5:7)
“Fear has no hold on me. I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might!” (Ephesians 6:10)
And as you declare it, the power of faith will break every chain of fear in your life!
