Itβs strange how life works sometimes. Many of the enemies you face are not strangers at all. They are people you once helped, people you once believed in, people you poured your time, energy, and care into. You supported them when they struggled, stood by them when no one else would, and celebrated their wins as if they were your own.
But as you grow, as you evolve, as your life takes a different path, some of those same people feel threatened by your progress. The kindness you once gave them, the support you offered without question, becomes irrelevant in their eyes. They no longer see the person they once leaned on. They only see someone who has moved beyond the version of yourself they were comfortable with.
This is not about revenge or resentment. It is about understanding that growth will naturally create distance. Not everyone you help will cheer for your success, and not everyone you love will remain in your life. And that is okay. Protect your energy, honor your growth, and keep moving forward. Life is too short to carry the weight of people who cannot handle your light.
Sometimes, the hardest lessons are the ones about people we once trusted. Learn them, accept them, and use them to sharpen your focus on the people who truly belong in your life.
