The Love That Taught Me Love ❤️

I stumbled upon my parents' wedding photos taken in 1963, and I couldn’t hold back the tears. What a moment in time, so full of life, joy, and promise. My heart swelled with nostalgia.

Both of them are now gone, but their love and values, laid my foundation. Looking at this photo, I realize how much history, laughter, and silent sacrifices are captured in a single frame. Out of all the beautiful faces here, only about five are still alìve today, which is a reminder that time is indeed precious, and nothing lasts forever, not even lìfe.

Thank you, Mum and Dad, for the gift of love that still speaks across the years (one that I am emulating)!

I miss you both deeply and though you are gone, your legacy is alive in my heart and in the hearts of my four elder brothers and my younger sister. We loved and still love you both so much!

We Are Nothing Alike — That’s Our Superpower 💥❤️

My husband and I? We're total opposites.
He likes romance movies, I love documentaries.
He wakes up early and starts the day with full energy, while I'm still negotiating with the alarm clock. He is calm. I am loud. 🫣
He loves the AC on full blast. I’m always reaching for the duvet. 😂

At first, we wondered if these differences would create tension. But over time, we’ve learned something powerful:
Being different doesn’t mean being baaaaad. It means being complete.

Instead of trying to change each other, we started celebrating the contrast.
Where I’m soft, he’s firm.
Where I hesitate, he’s bold.
Where I am spontaneous, he brings the structure.
He is the operations person and I am the marketer.
We simply balance each other like salt and pepper in the same stew. 🍲

Our differences are not problems. They are puzzle pieces that fit together perfectly.

So, to every couple out here: you don’t need to be the same to work well. What you need is to understand, respect, and embrace each other.

✨ Instead of asking, “Why are we not alike?”
Ask, “How can our uniqueness strengthen us?”

And remember, your partner isn't meant to be your mirror. Your partner is meant to be your missing piece!🧩💑
