HOW SOMEONE ALMOST SCAMMED ME LAST FRIDAY😳

This customer walked into my shop with a list of provisions and foodstuffs.

I was even happy because I have some Aboki customers who are very honest, so I assumed this one was also genuine.

I brought out everything on his list and started documenting his order.

While he was chatting with a local Hausa medicine seller, he suddenly asked me to give him ₦2,000 to pay for some herbal medicine he had bought.

I gave him the money.

But somehow, something in me said, “Be careful. This man may be a thief.”

Immediately, I put my phones inside my apron. 👀

Then he told me he wanted to buy eggs and would come back, make the transfer, and carry his goods.

My people… I never saw him again! 😂😂😂

Imagine if I had ignored that little warning and left my phones where they were?

This one taught me again that being friendly in business does not mean throwing caution to the wind.

Trust, but stay alert. Especially in the market. 😅
