Be open to learning new things.

Last week, I saw a video of a chef T, making tomato stew base and I decided to try it out.

Here's what she did it
She steamed the tomatoes, pepper, onions, red bell pepper, garlic and ginger with thyme and seasoning, before blending.

I decided to try it out. Trust me when I say this method took my stew to a 💯 and I am loving it.

Don't get me wrong, my stew wasn't bad before, but it's way better now.

It got me thinking, what if I was someone who is not teachable or open to trying new things, I would have missed out on this goodness.

This is me reminding you to be open to learning and trying new things, you might just get it right.

"My husband's side chic"

I find it difficult to understand why mothers call their daughters "my husband's side chic" simply because the child is very fond of her father.

Please make it make sense, because it sounds weird to me.

How can a mother be speaking such negativity "side chic" into her growing daughter?
