OUR HUSBANDS ARE PROPHET

I would like to share a scenario where i actually noticed this. Please don’t say it’s because you married a pastor before i knack 👠👠 shoe for your head. Even in your own marriage if you watch closely you would notice except that you don’t take note of little things.

One of those times was the day my menstruation started on the day that I planned to travel to the market to get goods that I sell. For people that know me they can attest that I leave my state to travel as far as the east to buy what I sell.

After getting dressed up to leave he asked me,

Are you not taking extra pad?

Normally, you would say that what does he know about heavy flow. But I responded that I usually don’t have heavy flow so a pad will do especially because it was the first day. Little did I know that God was speaking through him.

I left the house with the mindset that I was not going to do a lot of shopping hence I will be coming home soon. Just getting to main market a lady called me to alert me about stain on my dress😭

I almost wanted to run home without buying goods cuz I had barely started buying. I went into a paid restroom just to see that the flow was massive. How I managed my self to shop and come home will be a story for later🫣 allow me to cry first because I just realized that I didn’t have the chance to on that day.

Then I remembered my husband who had told me before time to go with an extra pad

Are you married but your husband really don’t enjoy your food as much?

Does he refer to some family members who he thinks makes them better and he would have loved they taught you how to make his meals the way he loved them?

Does your husband praise some meals and mark others low?

Then you are not alone as this was a perfect description of me when I newly got married to my husband.

When I cook egusi he would always have reservations about how it tasted but in my mind I had put in all my best skills ever that I learnt at home and on the street to produce a sumptuous meal

It was so scaring to ask him rate my meal when I make a new pot of soup🥲

I just eat and wait for the remark. The worse part of it was the fact that he would rate the ones that I didn’t put in all my best to make as the sweetest while he rate the one I praised myself on the lowest.

At some point I got tired and was too ashame to go to any family member to learn from🫣 I didn’t want the eye rolling with “so you mean you not sabi cook” comment😭😭

Just about this time the Holy Spirit had been laying it in my mind to learn how to cook for kings but in my mind oh! Lord, na where I go see king cook for🙄 I nor be chef na🤷‍♀️

So one day I decided to checkout a few persons who cook and imitate their recipe and cooking style. I have this particular one I watch how she makes her meals often (recipe with Dolapo grey) and since then my husband never complain about my egusi no more 😂

I am making this post because I just remembered that I was planning to make egusi some days back and ran into a recent video of egusi soup that she made on her story and I followed her steps

This had been a game changer for me and I encourage other women to do so. The fact that you have other people bring in their own recipes and style of cooking help to spice up things in your kitchen

No body enjoys having thesame taste all the time, we aren’t prisoners . Humans love varieties

This could be why you aren’t married yet.

Just before you say yes, lemme explain what the above meant. The man by the pool side replied Jesus that he didn’t have any one to push him in once the pool was stirred when he was asked why he had been there for that long.

It is very possible that you literally don’t have a man in your life but I had like to draw your attention to another aspect of reality that you may not have considered a major factor too.

And that is you have no man to put in words for you when your matter is being discussed.

Here is a very short story, few years ago back then in school I posted a group photo of myself and some of my course mate and one of my cousin chatted me up about one of the girls in the photo. I asked him what he wanted from her and he indicated interest for a relationship

I told him No!

Yes I did and I don’t have an apology for it

I told him that she does amebo too much. She is always in places of gossips and I couldn’t imagine her as been part of my family even thou it was extended. By the time I was done explaining to my cousin brother he agreed that I knew her better and he respected my decision and that was the end of that conversation

I know that you are feeling bad already but I never did even up till this point.

Sometimes there are people looking at you from afar, they would never come close until they have someone who is ready to say a good word about you. You know why?

Because they understand the role of the community in critical decision making. They are scared that once they come close they may never get to know you again which in some cases is true.

You see the idea of “you nor dey feed me”character, you may have to drop it and be of good behavior that people can vouch for.

You say what!

I remember that I had this kind of conversation with a female friend and we concluded that there should be a mix between educated and non educated. We highlighted quite a number of reason why union between the educated might not work amongst that was the fact that the educated usually want to play smart with each other

But hold on!
After getting married I realised that getting married to an educated person is an addition. It create so much difference, it’s a flex

I don’t advise that you settle for less with all due respect except you have the intention to marry someone that you can control

God knows

Some years back I needed to get someone a birthday gift and I didn’t know what to give to this person considering that it looked like she had most of the things I would have love to gift her🫣

But the thought of getting her an umbrella kept coming to my mind. It was so surprising and I felt that it was a small gift. I struggled with my spirit for so long and when I didn’t know what else to give in place of that I surrendered

I got her the umbrella and she was like “I have being planning to get an umbrella for some time now but I always forget. Thank you for getting it for me

Amazingly, who would have known that except the one that knows us all reveals it.

This is to encourage us that God knows and He cares. You too can ask him and trust me he will tell you what to do

I know why you are falling for his tricks. To be serious there are some things I will like to share with you but because you are not on this other side of single hood(marriage) you may never understand and I don’t judge you for it

There were also times that I was told some things about this side of life but I found it so hard to believe, all I wanted was just to be married.

POS business is one of the most lucrative business until recently but after many advices some people still fall a victim

If you knew about phone boot and recharge cards you can testify to the fact that it really generated good revenue at the beginning until every house became a portal. Thesame with Pos business, before you could trek a distance you would have counted more than 5 boards advertising “Pos here”

The hassle is real when you see them in market place, especially in Benin due to the outbreak that happened when banks and other pos spot burnt down they all went into the market hawking to individuals.

As a person considering pos business here are 5 things to expect and what to do when they happen;

1. Fake alert: This is no longer news as some people had made up their mind not to earn honestly and legally but as a business woman you need to watch out for this people and ensure that you have policies that can help you either avoid them completely or reduce your loss. Such as no payment without the money adding up to your old balance on your terminal

2. Theft from workers: people will always be people, I saw a post by a business owners some days back saying that two workers that resumed her offices a day before were caught stealing on camera, you can imagine hence getting a guarantor will go along way to reduce these effect

3. Bank Network challenges affecting transactions: This is not to spoil anyone’s business but it has been observed that most tech banks work better for pos service because of network and also the ability to request for refund when the transaction is in doubt. This will not only build trust between customers and service provider but also cut down on the number of dead bodies 😂😂 that may arise from fighting

4. Charges: some tech based banks has also help to alleviate the rate of charges. A sister of mine would always type 9999 when I am withdrawing 10k from her pos, she says that I won’t be debited any charges since it isn’t up to 10k . So I encourage you to find loopholes in the regulations that can be of benefit to you and your customers

5. Location: You see that location that you are eyeing, while your carpenter is delaying with your boot another person had gone there with umbrella. So don’t think you are the only one seeing opportunities
