“Our stories are our power, and it’s time we tell them ourselves”
(an excerpt from the post made by .tundeoni Nosakhare Tunde-Oni some minutes ago)
This blew my mind as no one can truly tell your story like you would. So why leave the duty for someone else to write or tell
If I may ask who tells the story of a leg that hurt more than the person whose leg hurt?
Who should tell the womanhood story more than a woman?
The story of womanhood and motherhood is yet to be fully tapped into by so many why some of our daughters are out their seeking for it in the hands of men who never had the feel of hormones rushing through their bodies or the weep of pain through their spin
As women and mothers let’s learn to tell our stories ourselves, document them, convert into movies. As older women let’s learn to teach the younger women how to live
PS: How do you people create pictures with your newborn? Because I had to snap up to 5 to get this😂
