As the 2027 Benue State House of Assembly election approaches, Agatu Constituency needs a leader who can truly represent them, attract development, and deliver democratic dividends.

INEC has officially uploaded my humble self as the gazetted House of Assembly Candidate Agatu State Constituency on the platform of PDP.

The next celebration shall be my swearing in as the House of Assembly Member Representing Agatu State Constituency comes 2027 by the grace of God.

I appreciate the entire people of Agatu, the leadership of PDP for finding me worthy of flying the flag of the party and I thank all my friends, supporters, family members and other well wishers who are working tirelessly to ensure that this victory is sacrosanct.

As the 2027 general elections draw closer, it is only fair that the people choose to elect the best candidates who can promote their interests and provide the kind of life they truly deserve. For too long, Agatu has largely given her mandate to men who spoke fine words but forgot the farmers in the field. Yes, some of those men forgot our mothers in the market, and the youth who struggle to figure out their future. But all these must change in 2027.

Hon. John Anthony Ikwulono (JAI) has come to our rescue. Everyone knows that he stood with us in times of need, empowered our youth, supported our mothers and brought help to our schools and health centers. Also, he has proven that leadership is about results.

"Ikwulono, apart from the fact that you possess qualities of leadership and have the capacity to lead in any position given to you, you have paid your dues. You have served people both in Agatu, the entire Zone C, as well as Benue State, and you are still serving. Therefore, the time has come for those you have served, and for whom you have worked tirelessly, to replicate the same by electing you into various positions of authority from the Local Government down to the State and Federal levels, come 2027 by the Grace of God. Whoever does not want to support you initially should be pricked by his or her conscience and have a rethink, to work for your emergence. You have served people for decades.

"You have made a lot of leaders popular by the way you projected them both on social media and outside social media, especially through persuasive appeals by writing for those seeking elective positions to showcase your candidates before, during, and after elections, which they eventually won. The way you anchored public occasions during campaigns or other political gatherings as Master of Ceremony (MC) demonstrated clearly that you are a dependable material who can deliver any day, anytime.

"You are humility personified. You do not insult people in any of your outings or when carrying out your duties in the course of projecting your candidates. Despite provocations from some persons who held opposing views, you handled all issues maturely. You have received bullets for people, you have made people popular, and as a popular person yourself, you do not lack the ability to make yourself popular now that your turn has come. What you did for other leaders who won their elections, you can now do for yourself. God is bringing people your way to support and lift you now.

"You always put the interest of others before your personal interest. You have made a lot of sacrifices for people without receiving any pay or benefits, yet you remain calm without showing any sign of anger, as if nothing wrong happened. Why will people not support you from across party lines to ensure you emerge as the next House of Assembly Member representing Agatu State Constituency? Relax your mind. God will definitely bring people that matter in society to support and lift you up. You are a sellable candidate and a grassroots politician who is well known. You are a cross-border politician that everyone from different political parties would like to support, because with you, the voice of Agatu people must be heard loudly.
