I was at The VIP lounge when people said ‘VDM your friend, Mr Jollof just passed’. I knew immediately we were not going to fly’. When we were queuing to enter the plane, I was right behind him. People were calling my name but he didn’t turn back. People were snapping with me and I saw that he had entered the plane. When I entered the plane, I was looking at him eyeball to eyeball and he maintained the eye contact. I then said, ‘how far, that slap you promised me, na today you go give me’. He said, ‘e be like say you dey craze’. People started shouting VDM. I then stood up One old woman said ‘VDM what is wrong with you, go and sit down’. As I wanted to turn, Jollof gave me two blows on my face. Funnybone was sitting down watching. As he wanted to land the third blow, I brought him down. Funnybone pushed me and held my hands. He and Funnybone then pushed me. The passengers were shouting ‘VDM stop’. I then pinned jollof under my arm so he could pass out. I remembered how he insulted my mum and I pinned him more. He then bit me and I came back to reality. I appreciate him for biting me because something bad would have happened’ -VeryDarkMan

Justice must never be sold— President Tinubu warns Nigerian Judges

President Bola Tinubu on Monday called on the judiciary to uphold integrity, warning that justice must never be for sale. He highlighted public concerns over delays in case resolutions and limited access to justice, stressing that courts must become efficient and trustworthy institutions.

Addressing judges at the 2025 All Nigerian Judges Conference in Abuja, themed “Building a Confident Judiciary,” Tinubu emphasized that public confidence is essential for the judiciary’s legitimacy. He affirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting judicial dignity, eliminating misconduct, and enhancing institutional capacity, saying this responsibility extends beyond the National Judicial Council to all judicial officers.

The President stressed that a judgment, however legally sound, loses authority if perceived as unfair. He called for reforms to restore public trust, noting that the judiciary exists to serve the people, not the Bench or Bar. Tinubu underlined the need for synergy among the Executive, Legislature, and Judiciary, and described a strong, efficient, and principled judiciary as vital for democracy and national prosperity.

He pledged tangible support, including modern infrastructure, digital case management, and well-equipped courtrooms to ensure transparency and speed in justice delivery. Highlighting judicial welfare, training, and independence, he affirmed continued backing for the National Judicial Institute to promote professional development.

Tinubu warned against corr¥ption within the judiciary, stressing that compromise erodes governance and democracy. He urged judges to be bold and practical in addressing challenges like case backlogs, discipline, affordability, and accessibility of justice for all, particularly the vulnerable.

Concluding, he called judges “guardians of Nigeria’s moral conscience,” urging them to deliver fair, courageous rulings that strengthen democracy and ensur

When Truth Becomes a Threat — Why Many Fear VDM

There is a strange reaction that truth provokes in the hearts of men: the righteous find comfort in it, while the corrupt feel exposed. This is the story behind the growing hostility toward VDM. Those who hate him do not do so because he has wronged them, but because he has unmasked them.

VDM has become a symbol of accountability in a generation that often bows to greed. His words strike nerves because they pierce the veil of deceit many have carefully woven around their fraudulent lives. When a man speaks light, the ones who thrive in darkness naturally panic. Like cockroaches scattering when the lamp is switched on, they scramble to hide their shame, not because VDM is wrong, but because he is right.

Fraudulent individuals and scammers despise men like him because he disrupts their comfort zone. He reminds them that conscience still lives, that integrity is not extinct, and that truth, no matter how delayed, always demands its day in the sun. They label him harsh, arrogant, or controversial—but those are merely disguises to mask their guilt.

The truth is, only those with something to hide hate transparency. Those whose hands are clean never fear inspection. So when we see the loudest voices condemning VDM, we must ask: What are they trying to hide?

VDM’s mission may not please everyone, but it serves a divine balance—reminding society that integrity still speaks, and it will not be silenced by the noise of the guilty.

In Japan, napping at work isn’t laziness — it’s a sign of dedication 🇯🇵💼

The practice is called inemuri (“sleeping while present”), and it’s surprisingly respected in Japanese culture. When an employee dozes off at their desk 🪑, it’s often seen as proof that they’ve been working so hard 🧠💥, they literally ran out of energy.

Instead of getting scolded, they’re admired for their effort. It shows commitment, persistence, and loyalty to their job. Even bosses may nap — and no one bats an eye. 😌

The idea? A short snooze means you’ll return more focused, productive, and even go home 🏠 with more energy and patience for your family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦.

So next time you feel tired, just remember: in Japan, a nap might mean you’re working too hard — and that’s a compliment. 😉💤

"Nnamdi Kanu may not be freed until old age, that’s the government’s strategy.

All these frequent court appearances are just for public show, while several South-East leaders are secretly involved in his arrest."

Three Nigerian men were arrested in Algeria while trying to fly to Dubai, dressed as Arab women. They wore traditional robes, hijabs, and makeup in an attempt to pass as female passengers. Airport security became suspicious of their appearance and behavior, and after closer inspection, their plan was uncovered.

The exact reasons behind their disguise aren't clear, but the incident quickly went viral on social media, sparking a lot of debate and disbelief.

Reality is sometimes stranger than fiction! 😂
