*Visit to Professor Benson Osadolor*
The Executive Council (EXCOS) of the Movement for a Peaceful Edo recently paid a courtesy visit to Professor Benson Osadolor, former Vice Chancellor of Ambrose Alli University and current Dean Faculty of Art, to discuss the organization’s commitment to fostering sustainable peace in Edo State.
The delegation highlighted the urgent need to curb insecurity, particularly cultism, which has continued to undermine community safety and youth development. They emphasized their readiness to collaborate with key stakeholders in Edo State to carry out meaningful community engagement initiatives aimed at redirecting the energies of young people towards positive ventures that will promote the growth and development of the state.
In his response, Professor Benson Osadolor commended the initiative, describing it as a timely and noble cause. He pledged his full support and assured the group that he would provide access to relevant contacts, including that of the Edo State Government, to strengthen the impact of the movement’s activities.
