Essence Camp 2025: Sejiro Oke-tojinu Inspires Next-Gen Entrepreneur.
Badagry, Lagos — September 2025
At Essence Camp 2025 – A DIO Project entrepreneurship took on a new face as Mr. Sejiro Oke-tojinu, Founder of Seji Farm, inspired more than 200 teenagers and young adults with his story of innovation and resilience.
In his session, Mr. Oke-tojinu challenged traditional stereotypes of farming, presenting instead the image of a 21st-century agripreneur—innovative, global, and solution-driven. His personal journey captivated participants, showing them that obstacles can become steppingstones when approached with vision and creativity.
Going beyond words, Mr. Oke-tojinu demonstrated his commitment to youth empowerment by offering internship placements at Seji Farm for campers with a genuine interest in agriculture. This hands-on opportunity positions Essence Camp alumni to step into practical learning, skill acquisition, and entrepreneurship.
His calm, approachable presence at the camp left a lasting impression, as he took time to attend to each young person who sought his guidance. For many, his session was the turning point that redefined their perception of farming and enterprise.
“A real stakeholder doesn’t just talk; he brings solutions. Mr. Sejiro showed up not only as a speaker but as a partner in raising global entrepreneurs,” said Pastor Mrs. Bunmi Onilude, Convener of Essence Camp.
With leaders like Mr. Oke-tojinu on board, Essence Camp continues to bridge faith, purpose, and practical skills preparing young people to become producers, leaders, and nation builders.
