Levitikal Realities and Construction Limited has rejected allegations linking its Chairman, Dr. Samuel Mawuyon Ajose, and its Victoria Island development to an alleged EFCC fraud probe, demanding the removal of the publication and threatening legal action.

In a formal letter dated 15th August 2026, the companyโ€™s Head of Legal/Company Secretary, Temitope Soderu, described a Nairaland publication concerning Ajose and the company as false, misleading and damaging to their reputation and goodwill.

The post, published on 14th August, carried the headline, โ€œโ€˜KEEP OFFโ€™: EFCC Flags Victoria Island High-rise Linked To Former Lagos Governorship Aspirant, Property Developer โ€“ Dr. Samuel Mawuyon Ajose Amid Alleged Fraud Probe.โ€

Levitikal objected particularly to the suggestion that its property and business dealings were connected with fraudulent or criminal activity, as well as the warning to prospective buyers to โ€œbeware.โ€

The company said the publication did not identify any official EFCC statement, notice or other evidence establishing that it or Ajose had committed fraud or that either was the subject of a criminal finding.

Levitikal consequently demanded the immediate removal of the post, an end to its further dissemination, a clear retraction and the preservation of records relating to its publication, including user, access, timestamp and moderation records.

The company also requested written confirmation of compliance within 24 hours and warned that failure to comply could lead to legal action, including claims for injunctive relief, damages and costs.

Similar demands were also addressed to Horndaskore Global Concepts/Daily News Cover and Phoenix Browser/Colorful Point PTE. LTD.

Meanwhile, a WhatsApp exchange seen by Ogu People's Media contains a message stating that Nairaland had confirmed the removal of the post from its forum.

Levitikal said its demands were made without prejudice to its rights and remedies over any damage allegedly caused by the publication and its dissemination.
