𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐌𝐘 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐘 𝐀𝐏𝐂 (𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬)
Fellow party members, respected Kurmi leaders and my dear supporters
Today is not an easy day for me.
I 𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐑. 𝐒𝐖𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐍 𝐀𝐔𝐃𝐔 𝐃𝐎𝐃𝐎 stand before you with a heart full of gratitude, but also one that carries the weight of a difficult decision. From the very beginning of this journey, you stood by me, you believed in me, you walked with me, you sacrificed your time, your energy, and your resources. For that, I am deeply, deeply thankful.
This aspiration was never just about me. It was about a shared dream, our hope for a better future, a stronger party and a leadership that truly serves our people.
However, after deep reflection, sincere consultations, and prayers, I have come to a point where I must put the greater good above my personal ambition. Unity is the lifeblood of any political party and without it, even the best vision cannot stand.
It is for this reason that I have decided to 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐰 from this race for 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲, 𝐊𝐮𝐫𝐦𝐢 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲.
But I do not step aside in defeat, I step aside in faith. Faith in our party. Faith in in our amiable 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 (𝐀𝐆𝐁𝐔 𝐊𝐄𝐅𝐀𝐒) and in our collective strength. And faith in the candidate our party has chosen.
Today the 4th of May 2026, I Barr. Swaben Audu give my full, unreserved support to our party’s preferred candidate (𝐇𝐎𝐍. 𝐌𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐇 𝐋𝐔𝐊𝐀) for member Taraba State House of Assembly, Kurmi constituency. I also reaffirm my unflinching support for the re-election of 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐰𝐚𝐣𝐮 𝐁𝐨𝐥𝐚 𝐀𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐛𝐮, 𝐆𝐂𝐅𝐑 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐠𝐛𝐮 𝐊𝐞𝐟𝐚𝐬 𝐏𝐇𝐃. I believe in their capacity to carry forward the vision we all share and I am committed to working with them to achieve victory.
To my supporters, I know this may be difficult. I feel it too. But I ask you, let us not allow our strength to be divided. Let us channel our passion, our energy, and our commitment toward a common goal.
History will remember not just those who contested, but those who chose unity over division and purpose over self.
This is not the end of our struggle—it is a new beginning. Together, we will continue to work, to build, and to serve.
From the depths of my heart, I thank you all.
May God bless you, and may God bless our party. 𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐑. 𝐇𝐎𝐍. 𝐒𝐖𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐍 𝐀𝐔𝐃𝐔 𝐃𝐎𝐃𝐎
