3 DAYS GONE !!!
Oga K as we fondly called late Alhaji Ahmad Isah Koko, the news of his demised came to me or to us in general as a rude shock!
I have known him for good 19 years, 1 month and 8 days before his passing on in September,19th this year (2024).
I could vividly remembered, in August,14th 2005 he introduced me to his colleagues then like Rose From, Alhaji Umar Tukur Salihu Dundaye ,Hajiya Umma Muhammad Bayi, late Shaibu Usman Antiya, late Aliyu Kankara .
Oga K , assisted me severally, when I had an issues like that of delay in payments being an artist, the first time was precisely in October,10th 2005.
Of course,he was my supervisor during my IT and he made it very simple and I can go on and on....
He was actually, more than ever ready to listen and assist where it's necessary because of his open door policies.To some extent,he plays a kind of fatherly role in our lives that brings unity to the Unit.
In terms of his profession, he was good personality who was versatile enough to work under pressure at the same time maintain accuracy. In fact,he was an exemplary experienced communicator with voice delivery through his presentation skills which made him popular not only in this country and Africa but around the world (within the Hausa community).
The last time I visited him in the hospital he was amazed to see me and he asked how I managed to get in because it was not visiting period ! Jokingly,in Hausa "Ko ka yi amfani da layar Zanan da Kakan ya baka ne?) .
Lastly,few days ago when I missed his call and I called back,the first thing I heard was "Dan Muhammad Baban Muhammad Jikan Shuaibu!" I was really amazed because he really sounded good. I did not know that was my last communication (conversation) with him !
Honestly,he was an easy-going affable gentleman and to my knowledge got along with people.
I will be forever grateful for his contributions in my life that I will continue to benefit. I pray that Aljannatul Firdaus should be his final destination.
