BAUCHI STATE GOVERNMENT APPROVES N888.5 MILLION FOR
PAYMENT OF EXTERNAL EXAMINATION FEES FOR PUBLIC SCHOOLS STUDENTS
The Bauchi State Government, under the purposeful leadership of His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed CON, (Kauran Daular Usmaniyya), has approved the sum of N888,507,400.00 for the payment of external examination fees, JAMB and CBT training for students in public secondary schools across the state.
The approval covers the registration of students for the following examinations:
i. National Examinations Council (NECO) - 22,646 students ii. National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB)
2,064 students
ili. National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS)- 207
students
iv. Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and CBT
Training - 6,562 students
In total, 24,917 students across Bauchi State will benefit from this intervention .
The Bauchi State Ministry of Education extends its warmest appreciation to His Excellency for finding these students worthy of such a strategic investment. This gesture will undoubtedly ease the burden on parents and guardians while empowering thousands of young people to pursue higher education and career opportunities.
