Mai Martaba Sarkin Ningi, Alhaji Haruna Yunusa Danyaya III, ya bayyana matuƙar alhini da jimaminsa bisa rasuwar Mai Martaba Sarkin Gumel, Alhaji Ahmed Muhammad Sani.

Mai Martaba Sarkin Ningi ya bayyana rasuwar Sarkin Gumel a matsayin babban rashi mai raɗaɗi ga al’ummar Gumel, Masarautar Gumel, Jihar Jigawa da ma ɗaukacin masarautun gargajiya na ƙasar nan.

A cikin saƙon ta’aziyyarsa wanda mai tallafa masa kan sadarwa Sadam Mato Burra ya rabawa manema labarai, Sarkin Ningi ya miƙa saƙon ta’aziyyarsa ga iyalan marigayin, ’yan uwa da abokan arziki, Masarautar Gumel da kuma al’ummar Jihar Jigawa baki ɗaya bisa wannan rashi.

Mai Martaba Sarkin ya roƙi Allah Maɗaukakin Sarki Ya gafarta wa marigayin kura-kuransa, Ya jiƙansa da rahama, Ya haskaka kabarinsa, sannan Ya sanya Aljannar Firdausi ce makomarsa.

Haka kuma, ya roƙi Allah Ya bai wa iyalan marigayin, Masarautar Gumel da al’ummar Jihar Jigawa haƙurin jure wannan babban rashi.

“INNALILLAHI WA INNA ILAIHI RAJI’UN.

Lalle mu daga Allah muke, kuma gare Shi za mu koma.”

Mai Martaba Sarkin Ningi ya kuma yi kira ga al’ummar Gumel da Jihar Jigawa da su ci gaba da yi wa marigayin addu’a, tare da roƙon Allah Ya sa wannan babban rashi ya zama sanadin ƙarin haɗin kai da zaman lafiya a tsakanin al’umma.

Inna lil Laahi wa inna ilaiHi Raaji'un!

It is with profound sadness and total submission to the will of Allah that We received the news of the passing of His Royal Highness, Alhaji Dr Ahmed Muhammad Sani II, CON, the Emir of Gumel in Jigawa State.

The revered monarch passed away today, Thursday, in Cairo, Egypt. He reigned as the Emir from December 16, 1980 to Thursday, September 3, 2026.

Gumel Emirate is one of the oldest and most respected traditional institutions in Northern Nigeria. Founded in the 18th century, the Emirate has a rich history of scholarship, governance, and service to humanity. Over the centuries, Gumel has produced renowned scholars, jurists, and leaders who contributed immensely to the moral and intellectual development of the region. The Emirate remains a symbol of peace, unity, and cultural heritage in Jigawa State.

On behalf of His Royal Highness The Emir of Warji Bauchi State (Alh. Ibrahim Sama'ila Boyi) and His Council, I extend our heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of the late Emir, the Gumel Emirate Council, His Eminence the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar III, CFR, the Government and good people of Jigawa State, and the entire nation.

The late Emir was a distinguished scholar, a beacon of wisdom, and a father to all. He dedicated his life to the service of his people, the promotion of peace, education, and the preservation of our cultural values. His leadership, humility, and commitment to community development will be greatly missed.

We pray that Allah SWT forgives his sins, accepts his good deeds, and grants him Al-Jannatul Firdaus.

May Allah also grant the family, the Emirate, and the people of Jigawa the strength and fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.

May Allah admit him into Jannatul Firdaus together with our departed parents and loved ones.
