The real reason some of you are so desperate to unmask Alex Ekubo’s wife isn’t “concern”… it’s surveillance. 👀

You don’t care about her. You want to police her grief. You want to monitor what she posts, what she wears, where she goes, who she’s seen with. Then the second she tries to live again, you’ll be first to drag her and cook up the most unhinged takes.

Here’s what we know about her:

Anwulika Amakom Ekubo is a successful Igbo businesswoman and corporate executive – Executive Director at NOG Oil & Gas Limited. She stayed off the radar until Alexx’s passing revealed they had secretly married in December 2024. Since then, people have been praising her grace and strength during this painful time. She’s accomplished, private, and has no interest in living in the spotlight.

Her marriage to Alexx only came out after his death, confirmed by AY Makun’s wife Grace Makun and blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus. As tributes pour in for the late actor, Anwulika has earned admiration – not for fame, but for how she’s carrying herself.

And yes – the lady in the photo is Alexx’s wife. Let her grieve in peace.

“After 35 years of service, you’ll retire with NOTHING to show for it! 😭 You’re carrying a gun you can’t even use to protect your own family… but you’re using it to protect a terrible government. They fly private jets, you’re traveling by road because you can’t afford the ticket! ✈️🚫🚌”

He wasn’t talking to the enemy… he was speaking DIRECTLY to the soldiers and officers themselves. 👀

That’s what makes it hit DIFFERENT. 💔 He didn’t just attack the system… he reminded the men holding the GUNS that THEY are also victims of the same system they’re protecting! 🫵😢

The real problem isn’t the men in uniform. It’s the system that puts guns in your hands and turns you against your own people! ⚠️

"Before, If you tell me say you wan japa go Nigeria I go laugh you. Yes that is who I used to be, a girl who was quite optimistic about the country say one day e go better.

But yesterday I found myself thinking about japaing. That's to show you how much Nigeria has failed me.

Me I just want to visit my village because of the smell of the village, the road trip, the smell of the river. But right now them no born you well say you wan travel by road go your village.

In fact right now Nigeria is too expensive for p0or people. You no even fit travel. If no be flight, dey where you dey. E come be like p0or people n0 be human beings. Cost of living one take the living.

Light, water, road bad. Everything is bad in this country. What is happening in this country? Are we trying to close Nigeria? Let us know. E come be like them don sell this country. Dey no get hope for this country again. They just want make we suff£r, when we suff£r we go run, the country go come empty.

Me wan go Kogi, then no born me well to go by road. Make them hold me dey call one kind money wey we no get?

The bare minimum of travelling to one's village is now luxury.

Man Cancels Wedding After Finding Out His Fiancée Was Seeing Six Men in His House

A man has explained why he pulled the plug on a wedding he reportedly spent over ₦6 million to plan.

Living abroad, he said he met a woman he grew deeply attached to, and their relationship eventually led him to propose. He even moved her into a house he provided as they prepared for marriage.

But wanting to be sure, he claimed he secretly installed a hidden camera in a bedroom light bulb before traveling. While away, he said he watched footage of his fiancée bringing different men into the house and being intimate with them. He alleged he counted six different men over time.

Despite what he saw, he kept quiet and continued with the wedding plans. He further claimed she was still seeing other men right up to the eve of the wedding.

On the wedding day, guests were already at the venue and the bride was getting ready, expecting the ceremony to start. The groom never showed up. Instead, he revealed he had already left the country and later told those involved in a video call that the wedding was canceled.

He admitted he wasn’t that smart — saying he might as well have married a s*x worker instead. His advice to women still in that lifestyle: if you’re doing it, marry one of your customers. Don’t trap an innocent man who knows nothing about your past. He urged everyone to take time to truly know their partner before marriage.

"One day my wife said to me, ‘Mr. Man, I’m telling you today so you won’t feel I’ve wasted your time. You’re not the father of my children. I’m letting you know that none of our four children are biologically yours.’

I said a DNA test would settle it. She replied that she stood by her statement no matter where I took it, and insisted I wasn’t their father—that she was just being honest with me.

Right after their mother confessed that they all belonged to her ex, the children cut me off.

I accepted it. I figured paying for a DNA test would just be throwing money away, so I decided to use it to look after myself instead.

These are children I raised and cared for over 20 years. I shouldered everything alone—never splitting costs with their mother, not even ₦100. I paid all their bills, including school fees.

After that, I told the children to accept their mother’s words and stop seeing me as their father. Even if they ran into me, they should keep their distance, because I’d accepted that I had nothing left.

People might see me walking around, but only I know what I’ve gone through since that day. I’m already broken.

B@-ndits abduct 50 Zamfara elders during reconciliation push

Fifty elderly residents of Magamin Diddi village in Magami/Faru ward, Maradun LGA, were k_dnapped while on a reconciliation mission.

The abduction is reportedly linked to Jammo, the b@ndit kingpin operating in Muntsira Forest, Maradun LGA.

Maradun LG chairman Hon. Bello Dosara confirmed the incident to Daily Trust, adding that the elders went to meet the b@ndit leader without government clearance.

R0bbers break into Warri pastor’s home, pastor survives sh00ting

D@red€vil r0bbers stormed the residence of Pastor Chris Jokpa, senior pastor of Pacesetters Prophetic Ministry in Warri, Delta State.

The intruders made away with valuables while the pastor was at home. Reports say he was shot during the attack but survived and is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.

We pray for his quick recovery.
