LET'S TALK ABOUT EMOTIONAL ABUSE

Not all abuse leaves bruises.
Some wounds are silent. Some pain hides behind smiles.
But it’s still abuse.

Emotional abuse is when someone uses words, silence, blame, or manipulation to control you.
It doesn’t matter if they never laid a hand on you—
If they make you feel small, confused, scared, or not enough, that’s abuse.

Here’s what emotional abuse can look like:

# Constant criticism – Nothing you do is ever good enough

– Making you question your memory or sanity

# Isolation – Slowly cutting you off from family or friends

# Silent treatment – Withdrawing affection to punish you

– “If you leave me, I’ll…”

# Emotional coldness – They refuse to give love or comfort

# Blaming – It’s always YOUR fault

Over time, you start to doubt yourself. You feel anxious, empty, or numb. You might think “Maybe I am the problem.”

But let me tell you the truth:

You are not crazy.
You are not too emotional.
You are not overreacting.
You are not the problem.
Emotional abuse is about control, not love.

IS THERE NO BALM IN GILEAD?

As a person that has walked through pain in Life, the worst kind of pain is not knowing how to express how you feel because the is overwhelming. You can be smiling in the outside while dieing inside. Sometimes you Wil be tired of complaining cos you are becoming a burden to the people you talk to. Sometimes you might pray and think God cannot hear you 😊. Sometimes you wish you were dreaming, sometimes you question your existence, sometimes you wish you were not born, sometimes you wish the pain just disappear. Sometimes pain will make you beg God to take your life.

The good news is that, you are not alone. People might not understand exactly how you, God understands and he is with you every step of the way. He is the Balm in Gilead, he can Heal, Restore and Give Hope to the Hopeless.
You may be thinking "Will I ever get out of this?.. YES, you will.
How will that happen? .. Give God a chance.
But I have been praying God is not hearing me"....may be you were just complaining and not praying.
Why will you say that?" :because I have been there before.
God can take away any pain; be it sickness, emotional pain, barrenness, name it. He will step into your case if only you will allow him: Remove " What if" from your mind, don't think of how he is going to do it, because you will never understand. Trust him totally. Then REMOVE your mind from the problem or pain. If the pain becomes more intense, see God instead of the pain, see what you desire and not the present. If you can do this , you won't know when you come out of whatever you are going through.
