Let’s be honest the hardest part of the peanut burger business is not the coating, not the frying, and definitely not the packaging.
It’s marketing🥹😅
When you’re just starting out, You’ll be so excited after production, thinking your peanut burger will sell out immediately. You’ll imagine shops and supermarkets rushing to stock your products. But reality? It will humble you real quick. 😅
You’ll meet:
People who will be rude to you.
Shop owners who’ll look down on you.
Some who’ll say, “We already have a supplier.”
Others who won’t even collect a free sample out of fear or pride.
People who’ll price your hard work like sachet water.
And after explaining your product with all your energy, they’ll still tell you, “We’ll get back to you.” 😂
Almost every shop already has peanut burgers on their shelves, so convincing them to try yours is tough.... During my early days, I cried.😢
Imagine walking under hot sun, carrying your products from shop to shop, and returning home without being able to partner with a single shop... I’d tell myself, “Maybe this business is not for me.”
But the next day, I’d still go out again.😅
Of course, I was making some sales selling to my neighbors and people around me but that was not enough. I wanted more. I wanted to sell in wholesale, to supply shops and supermarkets too. I didn’t want my peanut burger to end within my street alone; I wanted it to reach far places and be on store shelves.
Some weeks, I’d only get one or two shops to buy small quantity just to “test if customers will like it.” I’d go home praying hard that those customers would come back asking for more so that shop owner would reorder.
But guess what? Those struggles built me. 💪
They pushed me to step up my game not just in taste, but also in appearance, neatness, packaging, and overall quality.
And boom! 💥 My peanuts started standing out.
They looked so different from what other produce.. They were smooth, perfectly coated, and fried to a beautiful golden perfection.
Most people hadn’t seen peanut burgers that neat and uniform beautiful before so they thought it was a new version of peanut burger entirely and not the regular one 😅😂
And truly, when I upgraded my peanut burger, everything changed.
Those who bought small came back with bigger orders.
And that’s when referrals started rolling in. 🥰
Before you start any business, you need patience. So you won’t give up when things get tough.
No matter what you’re selling, package it well. 💯
Your packaging is the first impression before anyone even tastes or tries your product. It speaks before you do. 🗣️
Don’t stop learning. Don’t stop improving. 💪
And no matter how tough it gets, don’t give up on marketing your products.
Every time you step out to promote your brand, you’re planting seeds that will one day grow into something bigger. 🌱
I’m not where I want to be yet, but I’m so grateful I’m not where I used to be. 🙏
Growth takes time and every step, no matter how small, is progress.
Keep pushing, your consistency will pay off soon.
