FARMER GOVERNOR UMARU BAGO AMONG NIGERIA'S DELEGATION TO THE 80TH UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY
Niger State governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago, is part of the Federal Government's delegation to the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, United States of America.
The farmer governor will use the opportunity to engage world leaders and woo more investors to Niger State, as he will be unveiling his New Niger agenda to participants at the event.
The 80th session of the UNGA, which will be attended by world leaders, policy makers, and international stakeholders to deliberate on issues affecting nations and suggest ways forward, will equally provide opportunities for the farmer governor to initiate partnerships with the global community and to showcase the enormous investment opportunities in Niger State in line with international development goals.
The farmer governor is also scheduled to participate in a series of events such as the summit on economic, trade, investment, technology incubation, and cultural exchange; the United States-Africa trade investment conference Tradelink 2025; and a high-level roundtable, among others.
The events, which are all geared towards creating private sector linkages through philanthropy networks in climate financing, health systems, innovation, and agriculture, would also strengthen existing partnerships with investors.
