THE GUY ON GREEN

- He lost his mother at a young age

- His father lost his job 3 months after he lost his wife

- He was rejected by many clubs but today is one of BEST players in the world and it started with 15 MINUTES

A TOUGH START!

He was the last amongst 7 kids but he didn’t get the special treatment given to “Last Borns” in Nigerian homes.

He rather joined his elder siblings in hustling to make sure they survived, he hawked “Pure water” along Ojota road, Lagos State.

A BORN HUSTLER!

His siblings sold newspapers & sold oranges on the street, it was a family united in making sure they survived.

He lived in one of Lagos state’s biggest refuse dump sites in Olusosun but that didn't stop the young boy from dreaming, in fact he dreamt big!

DREAM BIG, IT’S FREE!

His father wanted him to become a doctor but he dropped out of school to pursue his dream of becoming a footballer and his father supported him.

He played street football and was a youth player of the then Ultimate Strikers Academy, but he never played.

PERSONALIZE YOUR DREAM!

In 2014 at age 16 he went for the Nigeria Under-17 team screening held in Abuja by coach Amuneke.

More than 2million players were in the Abuja stadium and they were both given 15 MINUTES to impress.

In 15 MINUTES he scored 2 goals!

“LUCK IS WHEN OPPORTUNITY MEETS PREPARATION”

It wasn’t enough as the tired Amuneke sent him and the others away.

But as they left, he heard Nigeria team doctor telling the coach Amuneke to try out "The guy on green"

Coach Amuneke turned and called out "The guy on green!!!", he turned because he wore green, ran back and the coach teased him saying, “You no dey chop?, why you lean like this, sit down!".

“MAY OUR DESTINY HELPERS NEVER MISS US”

And that was how he got selected into the Under-17 WC team, he later went on to win the following;

• 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup
• 2015 FIFA U-17 Golden Boot (Highest Goal Scorer)
• 2015 FIFA Silver shoe award (Second Best Player)

Then the European bigs clubs came calling.

He’s now the African with the Most Goals scored in a single Serie A season breaking Samuel Eto’s record.

HE BECAME THE PRINCE OF NAPLES!!!

John Ogu called him a beast with a lion’s heart.

The way you enter a place and heads will turn in your direction let demons be able to feel uncomfortable with your presence...

We all desire a kingdom marriage and home but you don't just wake up to a Godly and sweet marriage, you need to have made spiritual investment....

You'll need more than just a fine face to raise spiritual and Godly children....

Let it be that because of you, your generation will not lack praying mothers....

Let that beauty be wrapped inside fire....

God is not just raising "Mamas", He is raising 𝗕𝗨𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗡 𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗥𝗦.

A woman chasing after and loving God is not mummy G.O. She is just a lover of God and His presence!

Ma, you can be a house wife and still house the 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 of God.

You can be a banker and still save this generation from 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚.

Please listen ma, you can be a secondary school teacher and still invoke a heavenly 𝗖𝗨𝗥𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗨𝗠.

You can be a senator and still 𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗘 against the kingdom of 𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦.

You can be a business woman and still do business with 𝗜𝗠𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗦 Ma!!🔥🔥🤷‍♂️

President-Elect, Asíwájú Bola Tinubu has promised to hit the ground running as soon as he assumes office, saying he will work day and night.

Speaking after he received his Certificate of Return on Wednesday in Abuja, Tinubu said he will work to the utmost of his ability to make the country better.

“By taking this certificate, I assume a sacred duty I shall never ignore.

“To you the people, especially the youths, I will work day and night. I will work to the utmost of my ability to make Nigeria better”, he stated.

Tinubu as well as his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima received their Certificates of Return from the Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu who was the Chief Returning Officer for last Saturday’s Presidential election.

In his speech titled, “To serve the people”, the President-Elect noted that the road has been long. “Yet, we walked it. The battle has been hard fought. Yet, we won it”, he said.

According to him, the destiny of the nation depends on the ability of Nigerians to shed the artificial restrictions of bias and prejudice “so that we live fully unto our democratic creed that no one is innately superior or entitled to greater rights and opportunities than any other Nigeria”.

“Very soon, this nation shall witness a young person standing before you holding this great symbol of democracy and national leadership. We shall see a woman standing before you, holding this certificate as its owner. We shall experience someone from a tribe that many people have tried to dismiss as somehow beginning disqualified for this high office”.

I was told that tomorrow is mine,
but my tomorrow has been mortgaged before I could get to it.

Like a termite in the labyrinth of lost hope
I wallow in confusion wondering where my hope will come from...

So, today I found it.
I saw my hope riding like a king upon his chariot...
Decked with promises, aspiration, compassion, and the burden to fix what was broken.

So, I ran towards him!
I could be stopped, yet I ran.
I could fall down, but I ran.
I could be shot.., I know I won't.

With my hands stretched out, wide-open
I ran towards him.
I couldn't hug him, but hope hugged me... Faith kissed my chicks, and the pureness in his heart flowed from him to me when he cast his gaze upon me with such a beautiful smile

He didn't say a word but all he said was heard ...

Remember that it was after the US lost its bid to Qatar that led to massive investigations into FIFA. Investigations that eventually led to the resignation of Sepp Blatter and jailing of many former FIFA officials.

Moreso, the most harshest criticisms of Qatar have come from the US, UK and other western allies.

One would think that because of these things, the US would avoid business with Qatar.

In that same documentary by Netflix, it was revealed that Qatar had to import grass from its stadiums. Guess which country was producing these grasses for Qatar? The US. MSN reported that "Hundreds of tons of grass seed have been imported from the United States on climate-controlled aircraft to fulfil the needs of eight stadium pitches — seven of them new — as well as 136 training grounds."

So inspite of their supposed disagreement and fight with Qatar, they have their eyes on the money. They are focused on the economic side of it.

This reminds me so much of something about China.
