Ekwunife asked Soludo to go to court if he claims her PhD certificate is f∆ke, she also asked him to go to Nnamdi Azikiwe University,Awka and verify about her Masters degree certificate and also University of Calabar to verify her first degree, if Soludo thinks she didn't do first degree and masters before 0btaining PhD.

She mentioned that the Soludo administration has done nothing good for Ndi Anambra other than harbour!ng iπsecurity that has claimed the l!fe of many in ∆nambra including two house of Assembly members.

HON. SAMUEL OGEH IDENTIFIES SYSTEMIC CHALLENGES AND REAFFIRMS GOVERNMENT’S COMMITMENT TO TRANSFORMING BASIC EDUCATION IN RIVERS STATE

The Chairman of the Rivers State Universal Basic Education Board (RSUBEB), Hon. Samuel Ogeh, Esq., DSSRS, has restated the Rivers State Government’s steadfast commitment to revitalizing the basic education sector as he and members of his Board continued their statewide monitoring tour of schools.

During the visit, Hon. Ogeh underscored that effective monitoring and supervision remain indispensable to accountability, policy compliance, and improved service delivery within the education system. He stressed that the present administration is determined to overturn the era of neglect, ensuring that every child in Rivers State enjoys access to quality instruction within an enabling learning environment.

The tour, however, exposed the stark realities confronting the sector. In some schools, inadequate staffing and recurring teacher absenteeism left pupils without adequate guidance; in others, learners struggled with limited instructional materials. Dilapidated classrooms, leaking roofs, and broken desks spoke volumes about the strain of decaying infrastructure, often forcing pupils into overcrowded spaces that impede learning. The absence of functional ICT facilities further widened the digital divide, while weak policy implementation and irregular monitoring mechanisms revealed systemic inefficiencies that undermine otherwise laudable interventions.

Despite these challenges, Hon. Ogeh maintained that the obstacles are not insurmountable. With robust government interventions, strengthened oversight, active community participation, and increased private-sector partnerships, Rivers State can reposition its basic education sector to meet global best practices. He assured that the Board would intensify monitoring, enforce discipline where necessary, and direct resources strategically toward interventions that yield mea
