Mali: Bamako Placed Under Curfew After Coordinated Attacks.

Tension is high in Mali’s capital as authorities enforce a 72-hour curfew following the April 25 attacks in multiple parts of the country. The restriction, running from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., could be extended depending on how the situation develops.

The move comes after a wave of reported assaults affecting not only Bamako but also Kati and other areas. According to various sources, key sites were targeted, with gunfire and explosions heard from early in the day.

Security concerns remain elevated nationwide. Several regions have already been under similar curfew measures for months. In Gao, officials have tightened restrictions further, with curfew hours now set from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Curfews of this kind are rare in Bamako and typically signal exceptional circumstances. Security forces are actively enforcing the measures as residents navigate an atmosphere of uncertainty and strain.

The Foreign Ministry said it has been in regular contact with Asamoah and will cover his travel and resettlement costs. His new location will not be disclosed for security reasons. The GDP of Africa now is 3.6 trillion dollars, all of us imagine, the whole Africa, Egypt 🇪🇬, South Africa 🇿🇦, Nigeria 🇳🇬, Uganda 🇺🇬 all of us, 3.6 trillion of GDP and we are 1.5 billion people and our land Area of Africa is four times the size of the United States 🇺🇸 and our population is now five times the population of the United States of America, but our GDP is $3 .6 trillion and the GDP Of the United States is $32 trillion. So all of us together in terms of wealth are only 10% of the wealth of the United States. This is a big shame. Why should this be the case?. There has been some talk that there was no other way in the past, but I don't believe that. If you look at China 🇨🇳, you people can go and get the figures, China was very very poor, very underdeveloped when the communists took over but they were able because of discipline and clarity , were able to save and start investing in their economy even when they were still very poor. So it is ideological, it's not just money , it is more than money
