Exactly Two weeks today, our team had the privilege of visiting four schools to advance the core objective of our campaign, 'A Book Per Child.'
It was a humbling experience as we engaged with young students at two secondary schools and two primary schools in Cross River State, Nigeria, discussing the importance of reading, personal hygiene, gender roles, and inclusive leadership.
The excitement on the children's faces was deeply moving and strengthened my resolve to continue pursuing this dream and purpose.
During our visits, we reached out to over 143 children, donating essential writing and reading materials to support their educational journey.
I'm thrilled to report that we've established two reading clubs, one at Government Secondary School Uwanse and another at Government Girls Secondary School Big Qua.
We deliberately chose Big Qua Girls to align with our goal of supporting SDG 5 (Gender Equality) and look forward to continuing our work with them to make a meaningful impact."
