Do you have body insecurities even when you know you’re a snack? I know I do.

Funny how I’m still very conscious and sometimes (read as most times) insecure about my body.

Well, not so funny. When you’ve been told you don’t fit in physically for years and that it’s a bad thing, developing an insecurity is only normal.

Growing up, once puberty hit, I got a major growth spurt before almost all my peers. My body filled out and my thighs became fuller. My breasts also began to show through my uniforms and hips as well.

All of these sounded like fun but then, my stomach joined the entourage and my arms did as well. And let’s say, the rest is history.

I’ll tell the rest of the story about the journey to self love and how that’s going every now and then.

Be kind when pointing out the differences people have or try this, don’t do it at all!
