I HAVE THE LIFE OF GOD.

Therefore, death cannot be the end of my story.

I have received eternal life — not merely an endless existence, but the very life of God made available to me in Christ.

Jesus said:

“Because I live, ye shall live also.” — John 14:19

The life I have received is eternal. It is not temporary, fragile, or dependent on circumstances. Christ is my life, and my life is hid with Christ in God.

So whether I am awake or asleep, my confidence remains the same: I belong to Christ and I have His life.

“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” — Philippians 1:21

To live is Christ.
To sleep is gain.
Either way, Christ remains my life.

I do not live in fear of death because my hope is not anchored in this present body. I have the promise of resurrection, immortality, and eternal life in Christ.

THIS LIFE IS IN ME BECAUSE CHRIST IS IN ME.
