In a quiet village at the edge of the hills, Mama Abeni sat beneath the old baobab tree, her rosary clutched tightly in her wrinkled hands. The beads had lost their shine, yet they carried the echoes of countless whispered prayers. Each bead marked a story — of loss, of love, of faith that refused to fade.

Her eyes were closed, not in weariness, but in deep communion. She prayed not for herself, but for her children scattered across distant lands, for peace in a world that seemed to forget kindness. The wind stirred her scarf gently, as if heaven itself leaned closer to listen.
