HIS SECRET DESTINY
EPISODE 6 — THE KING'S DEADLY SECRET
The golden doors slammed shut.
David and Daniel were trapped inside the mysterious chamber with their father, King Arkon.
Outside, Richard, Grace, and Ezekiel desperately tried to open the door.
"David!" Grace screamed. "David, can you hear me?"
There was no answer.
Inside the chamber, David stared at the man sitting on the ancient throne.
His real father.
The man he had believed was dead.
David's voice trembled.
"Why did you let me believe you were dead?"
King Arkon slowly stood.
"Because it was the only way to keep you alive."
David shook his head.
"You let another man raise me."
Arkon looked at Richard through the golden door.
"Richard saved your life."
Daniel stepped forward.
"And what about me?"
The king looked at his older son.
"You were never supposed to survive."
Daniel's face changed.
"Why?"
The king remained silent.
Daniel shouted:
"WHY DID YOU WANT ME DEAD?"
Suddenly, the entire chamber shook.
A deep voice came from behind the walls.
"Because Daniel knows the truth."
Everyone froze.
David looked around.
"What truth?"
Daniel slowly looked at his father.
"You still haven't told him?"
King Arkon lowered his head.
Then Daniel said:
"David... our father is not the real King Arkon."
CHAPTER 1 — THE MAN ON THE THRONE
David stared at Daniel.
"What are you talking about?"
Daniel pointed at the king.
"Look at him carefully."
David looked at his father.
Suddenly, he noticed something strange.
The golden mark on his chest began glowing.
The king's face started changing.
His skin became darker.
His eyes turned completely black.
David stepped backward.
"Who are you?"
The man smiled.
The voice that came from his mouth was no longer human.
"I am the keeper of the Gate."
Daniel grabbed David.
"Run!"
The man raised his hand.
A powerful force threw Daniel across the room.
David screamed:
"Daniel!"
He ran toward his brother.
But before he could reach him, the man appeared directly in front of David.
He whispered:
"You have your father's blood..."
He touched David's golden mark.
"...but you have my power."
David's eyes suddenly glowed bright gold.
The man stepped backward.
For the first time, he looked afraid.
"Impossible."
CHAPTER 2 — THE POWER INSIDE DAVID
David raised his hand without knowing what he was doing.
The entire chamber began shaking.
Ancient stones floated in the air.
The golden throne cracked.
Daniel slowly stood up.
"David, stop!"
"I don't know how!"
"Then think about something you love!"
David closed his eyes.
He thought about Grace.
His mother.
He thought about Richard.
The man who had raised him.
He thought about his childhood.
His school.
His friends.
Then his power disappeared.
Everything fell to the ground.
Daniel looked at him in shock.
"You control it with your emotions."
David looked at his hands.
"What am I?"
Daniel answered:
"Something the Five Families are terrified of."
Suddenly, the mysterious man laughed.
"Let them come."
David turned.
The man removed his black cloak.
Underneath was ancient royal armor.
"I have waited eighteen years for you."
David asked:
"Who are you?"
The man smiled.
"My name is Malachi."
Daniel's eyes widened.
"Malachi..."
David looked at him.
"Who is he?"
Daniel whispered:
"The first Guardian of the Golden Gate."
CHAPTER 3 — THE FIVE FAMILIES ARRIVE
Outside the chamber, Richard suddenly heard footsteps.
Hundreds of people were approaching.
Ezekiel looked frightened.
"They're here."
Grace asked:
"Who?"
"The Five Families."
Five powerful leaders entered the underground temple.
Each one wore a different royal symbol.
Their leader stepped forward.
"Where is the boy?"
Richard stood in front of the golden door.
"You will never touch him."
The leader smiled.
"Richard, you have protected that child for eighteen years."
He stepped closer.
"But tonight, your protection ends."
Richard raised a weapon.
"You'll have to kill me first."
The man laughed.
"Gladly."
Suddenly, Ezekiel stepped between them.
"You don't understand."
The leader looked at him.
"Understand what?"
Ezekiel pointed toward the golden door.
"The boy has already awakened."
The man's smile disappeared.
"What?"
Ezekiel nodded.
"The Golden Child has awakened."
The five leaders looked at one another.
Then one of them whispered:
"Then the prophecy has begun."
CHAPTER 4 — THE BROTHERS' CHOICE
Inside the chamber, Malachi stood before David and Daniel.
"The Gate must be opened."
David shook his head.
"No."
Malachi smiled.
"You don't understand your destiny."
"I don't care about destiny."
David looked at Daniel.
"I care about my family."
Daniel stared at him.
For the first time, his hatred disappeared completely.
"You really are my brother."
David smiled.
"And you're really annoying."
Daniel laughed.
"At least you finally admit it."
Even in the middle of danger, they both laughed.
Then the chamber suddenly shook.
Malachi looked toward the Golden Gate.
"It's too late."
David's smile disappeared.
"What happened?"
Malachi whispered:
"The Shadow King has awakened."
A huge crack appeared across the ancient door.
Dark smoke began pouring through it.
Daniel grabbed a sword from the wall.
"David..."
David looked at him.
"Yes?"
"Whatever comes through that door..."
Daniel tightened his grip on the sword.
"...we fight it together."
David nodded.
"Together."
CHAPTER 5 — THE SHADOW KING
The Golden Gate exploded.
BOOOOOOM!
A massive wave of darkness filled the chamber.
The five families outside were thrown backward.
Richard grabbed Grace.
"Get down!"
Then everything became silent.
A tall figure slowly walked out of the darkness.
He wore a black crown.
His eyes were completely red.
Malachi immediately fell to his knees.
"The Shadow King."
The creature looked at David.
Then he smiled.
"At last."
David stood his ground.
"Who are you?"
The Shadow King laughed.
"You don't remember me?"
David frowned.
"I have never seen you."
The Shadow King stepped closer.
"Of course you haven't."
He pointed at David's chest.
"But I remember the night you were born."
David's heart began beating faster.
"What happened that night?"
The Shadow King smiled.
"I was there."
David froze.
"And I was the one who chose your destiny."
Suddenly, the Shadow King looked at Daniel.
"And your brother..."
He smiled.
"...was the sacrifice."
Daniel's face went pale.
"What?"
The Shadow King raised his hand.
Daniel suddenly disappeared into a cloud of darkness.
"Daniel!"
David screamed.
He ran toward the darkness.
But it was already too late.
Daniel was gone.
The Shadow King looked at David.
"Now, little king..."
He smiled.
"Let's see what you will do when the person you love most is taken from you."
David's golden mark exploded with power.
His eyes turned completely gold.

EPISODE 5 — THE MAN WHO KILLED HIS FATHER

The underground chamber went completely silent.

David stood beside his mother, staring at the mysterious man.

The man's face was partly covered by a black hood.

Only his cold eyes could be seen.

David's voice shook.

"You said you killed my father."

The man smiled.

"Yes."

Richard immediately stepped forward.

"Who sent you?"

The stranger looked at Richard.

"You still ask too many questions."

Ezekiel suddenly recognized him.

His eyes widened.

"Kade..."

The stranger smiled.

"So you remember me."

Grace held David tightly.

"Who is Kade?"

Ezekiel answered quietly:

"The most dangerous assassin of the Five Families."

Kade laughed.

"Not just an assassin."

He removed his hood.

"I am the man who has been hunting your son since the night he was born."

David stared at him.

"Why?"

Kade looked at the golden mark on David's chest.

"Because your father begged me to kill you."

Everyone froze.

Richard shouted:

"That's a lie!"

Kade smiled.

"Is it?"

He reached inside his coat and pulled out an old piece of paper.

"I have proof."

CHAPTER 1 — THE LETTER

Kade threw the paper onto the table.

David picked it up.

It was an old letter.

His hands began shaking as he read it.

The handwriting belonged to his father.

"If anything happens to me, David must never discover the truth about his bloodline."

David looked at Ezekiel.

"Why would my father write this?"

Ezekiel didn't answer.

David continued reading.

"If the Golden Child awakens, the Five Families will come for him."

Then he saw the final sentence.

"Kade must stop him before the Gate opens."

David slowly looked at Kade.

"You were ordered to kill me?"

Kade nodded.

"Yes."

"Then why didn't you?"

Kade looked at the boy.

"Because when I found you that night, you were just a baby."

He paused.

"I couldn't do it."

David's eyes filled with tears.

"So you left me alive?"

"I did."

Richard suddenly remembered something.

"You were there that night."

Kade looked at him.

"You remember now?"

Richard's face became pale.

"You were the man standing outside the house."

Kade smiled.

"And you were the man who took the baby away."

CHAPTER 2 — THE NIGHT EVERYTHING CHANGED

Ezekiel opened an old book.

"The night David was born was not an ordinary night."

He pointed at a drawing.

"There was a great storm."

David stared at the picture.

"It was the night I was born."

Ezekiel nodded.

"That same night, the Golden Gate opened for the first time in a hundred years."

Grace whispered:

"Why?"

"Because David was born."

Richard looked at him.

"So his birth opened the Gate?"

"No."

Ezekiel shook his head.

"His birth only awakened it."

He looked at David.

"Only David can fully open it."

David became worried.

"And what happens if I open it?"

Ezekiel looked toward the ancient door.

"Nobody knows."

Kade laughed.

"I know."

Everyone turned toward him.

"Behind that door is the power that destroyed the ancient kingdom."

David asked:

"What power?"

Kade's smile disappeared.

"The Shadow King."

CHAPTER 3 — THE SHADOW KING

The name alone made Ezekiel nervous.

David frowned.

"Who is the Shadow King?"

Kade answered:

"He was once a man."

"Once?"

"Yes."

Kade continued.

"He wanted unlimited power. He discovered the Golden Gate and tried to use the power inside it."

"What happened?"

"He became something else."

David looked at the ancient door.

"What kind of something?"

Kade whispered:

"A creature without a soul."

Grace held David closer.

"And he is still behind that door?"

Kade nodded.

"Waiting."

Suddenly, the door shook.

BOOM!

Everyone jumped.

Another sound came from behind it.

THUMP!

David's golden mark began glowing.

Kade looked terrified.

"No..."

Ezekiel shouted:

"Everyone get back!"

The door cracked.

A dark smoke slowly came through.

David suddenly heard a voice.

"My child..."

He froze.

The voice sounded familiar.

It was his father's voice.

David whispered:

"Dad?"

Kade looked at him.

"Don't answer it."

CHAPTER 4 — THE TRUTH ABOUT HIS FATHER

David turned toward Kade.

"You said you killed my father."

Kade nodded.

"I did."

"But my father is alive."

Kade looked confused.

"What?"

David pointed toward the darkness.

"I heard his voice."

Kade stared at the door.

Then he slowly shook his head.

"That isn't your father."

David frowned.

"How do you know?"

"Because I killed him."

Richard suddenly shouted:

"You are lying!"

Kade looked at him.

"Richard, you saw him die."

Richard became silent.

Grace looked confused.

"What is happening?"

Ezekiel finally spoke.

"David's father is dead."

David looked at him.

"Then who did I see?"

Ezekiel's face became serious.

"The Gate can copy the voices of the dead."

David stepped backward.

"So it is trying to trick me?"

"Yes."

Suddenly, the voice returned.

"David... come to me."

This time it sounded exactly like his father's voice.

David closed his eyes.

He wanted to believe it.

But something inside him told him not to.

CHAPTER 5 — DANIEL RETURNS

Suddenly, footsteps echoed through the chamber.

Everyone turned.

Daniel appeared.

His clothes were covered in dirt and blood.

David stared at him.

"What happened to you?"

Daniel looked at Kade.

"He happened."

Kade smiled.

"You survived."

Daniel looked at David.

"I came back for you."

David frowned.

"Why?"

Daniel walked closer.

"Because I discovered something."

"What?"

Daniel looked at the Golden Gate.

"The Five Families don't want your power."

David became confused.

"Then what do they want?"

Daniel looked directly into his eyes.

"They want you to open the Gate."

Everyone became silent.

David asked:

"Why?"

Daniel answered:

"Because they cannot open it themselves."

Ezekiel's eyes widened.

"And once David opens it..."

Daniel finished the sentence.

"The Shadow King will be free."

CHAPTER 6 — BROTHERS

David looked at Daniel.

"Then why did you come back?"

Daniel sighed.

"Because I made a mistake."

David was surprised.

"What mistake?"

"I thought you were my enemy."

Daniel looked away.

"But now I know the truth."

David stepped closer.

"What truth?"

Daniel looked at him.

"We are not fighting for the same throne."

David frowned.

"Then what are we fighting for?"

Daniel smiled sadly.

"Our lives."

For the first time, David saw something different in his brother's eyes.

Not hatred.

Fear.

Daniel reached into his pocket and brought out a small golden key.

"This belongs to you."

David took it.

The moment he touched it, the Golden Mark on his chest began glowing.

Daniel stepped backward.

"It has chosen you."

David looked at the key.

"What does it open?"

Daniel answered:

"The second Gate."

David looked at Ezekiel.

"There's another gate?"

Ezekiel closed his eyes.

"Yes."

"Where?"

Ezekiel slowly pointed toward the floor.

"Under this chamber."

CRACK!

The floor split open.

A staircase appeared beneath them.

Darkness filled the space below.

Then they heard something moving.

SCRATCH... SCRATCH... SCRATCH...

Grace grabbed Richard.

"What is down there?"

Nobody answered.

CHAPTER 7 — THE CHOICE

Kade looked at David.

"If you go down there, there is no turning back."

David looked at his mother.

Then Richard.

Then Daniel.

Finally, he looked at Ezekiel.

"What if I don't go?"

Ezekiel answered:

"Then the Five Families will eventually find you."

David took a deep breath.

"So I have no choice."

Daniel shook his head.

"You always have a choice."

David looked at him.

"What would you choose?"

Daniel smiled.

"For the first time..."

He looked at his brother.

"...I choose family."

David was surprised.

Daniel extended his hand.

"Brothers?"

David stared at his hand.

Then he shook it.

"Brothers."

Richard smiled through his tears.

But before anyone could celebrate—

A loud voice came from beneath the staircase.

"BROTHERS..."

Everyone froze.

"HOW SWEET."

The voice laughed.

"COME DOWN."

David's golden key suddenly became hot in his hand.

The staircase began glowing red.

Kade stepped backward.

"The Shadow King knows we're here."

CHAPTER 8 — THE SHOCKING DISCOVERY

David looked down the staircase.

A strange golden light appeared deep below.

He took one step.

Then another.

Daniel followed him.

Ezekiel shouted:

"Wait!"

But it was too late.

The two brothers disappeared into the darkness.

Richard tried to follow.

Suddenly, the staircase closed.

"David!"

Grace screamed.

"David!"

Inside the hidden chamber, David and Daniel stood alone.

At the far end was a huge golden throne.

Someone was sitting on it.

David couldn't see the person's face.

Daniel whispered:

"Who is that?"

The figure slowly stood.

A golden crown appeared on his head.

David's heart stopped.

The man walked into the light.

David stared at him.

It was the same man from his dreams.

The man smiled.

"Welcome home, my son."

David stepped backward.

Daniel looked at David.

"That's impossible."

David whispered:

"But I know him."

The man smiled.

"You should."

David's eyes filled with tears.

"Who are you?"

The man answered:

"I am King Arkon."

David froze.

His real father.

The man everyone said was dead.

He was standing right in front of him.

But then King Arkon looked at Daniel.

His expression suddenly became cold.

"Daniel."

Daniel stepped backward.

"Father?"

King Arkon raised his hand.

The golden doors slammed shut.

Then he said:

"Your brother was never supposed to survive."

Daniel's face went pale.

David turned toward him.

"Why?"

King Arkon smiled.

"Because only one of my sons can inherit the Golden Throne."

Suddenly, a dark shadow appeared behind the king.

And a deep voice whispered:

"LET THE BROTHERS FIGHT."

David looked at Daniel.

Daniel looked at David.

Then the ancient throne began glowing.

EPISODE 4 — THE BROTHER FROM THE DARKNESS

The underground chamber became completely silent.

David stood frozen.

At the entrance, a tall man stood in the darkness.

His eyes were glowing gold.

David looked at his father.

"Is that my brother?"

The man smiled.

"Finally... you ask the right question."

Richard stepped in front of David.

"Stay away from him!"

The stranger laughed.

"Richard."

Richard's face suddenly became pale.

"You know my name?"

"I know everything about you."

The man stepped into the light.

He was young, perhaps in his early twenties. He had the same sharp eyes as David and the same golden mark on his neck.

Grace covered her mouth.

"My God..."

David stared at him.

"You look like me."

The stranger smiled.

"Because we have the same blood."

David whispered:

"Who are you?"

The stranger answered:

"My name is Daniel Arkon."

CHAPTER 1 — THE FIRST BROTHER

David looked at Ezekiel.

"Why didn't anyone tell me about him?"

Ezekiel looked down.

"Because we believed he was dead."

Daniel laughed.

"Dead?"

He looked at Ezekiel.

"You should know better than anyone that I don't die easily."

David stepped closer.

"Why were you looking for me?"

Daniel's smile disappeared.

"Because you have something that belongs to me."

David touched his golden necklace.

"This?"

Daniel nodded.

"The Golden Mark."

David frowned.

"But I was born with it."

"No."

Daniel's voice became cold.

"It was given to you."

David looked confused.

"By who?"

Daniel pointed toward their father.

"Ask him."

Everyone looked at the king.

The old man lowered his head.

Daniel continued:

"Before you were born, Father chose one of us to inherit the Golden Throne."

David looked at his father.

"Who?"

The king remained silent.

Daniel answered:

"Me."

CHAPTER 2 — THE JEALOUS BROTHER

Daniel slowly walked toward David.

"I spent my whole childhood training for the throne."

He clenched his fist.

"I fought. I suffered. I learned everything they taught me."

His eyes became angry.

"Then you were born."

David said nothing.

Daniel continued:

"And everything changed."

"Why?"

"Because the prophecy said the younger son would possess a power greater than mine."

David looked shocked.

"So you hate me because of a prophecy?"

Daniel laughed bitterly.

"I hated what you represented."

He looked at their father.

"Father sent you away and made everyone believe you were dead."

David looked at the king.

"Is that true?"

The king finally spoke.

"Yes."

Grace began crying.

"Why would you do that to your own child?"

The king looked at David.

"Because if the five families discovered you, they would kill you."

Daniel interrupted.

"No."

Everyone looked at him.

"They wouldn't kill him."

Daniel smiled.

"They would use him."

CHAPTER 3 — THE REAL ENEMY

David became serious.

"Use me for what?"

Daniel looked toward the ancient golden door.

"To open the Gate of Destiny."

Ezekiel stepped forward.

"Daniel, don't tell him."

Daniel laughed.

"He deserves to know the truth."

He pointed toward the door.

"That gate is not just a doorway."

David stared at it.

"What is it?"

"The prison."

Richard frowned.

"Prison?"

Daniel nodded.

"Many years ago, our ancestors defeated something powerful and locked it behind that gate."

David's voice became quiet.

"What did they lock inside?"

Daniel looked directly into his eyes.

"Something that should never be released."

Suddenly, the ground shook.

BOOM!

The golden symbols on the walls began glowing.

Ezekiel shouted:

"Everybody move back!"

A deep sound came from behind the door.

THUMP.

Everyone froze.

Another sound.

THUMP.

David's chest began glowing.

THUMP.

The entire chamber shook.

Daniel stared at David.

"It knows you're here."

CHAPTER 4 — THE CHOICE

The golden door began opening.

Richard grabbed David.

"Run!"

But David didn't move.

Something inside him was telling him to stay.

He heard the mysterious voice again.

"David..."

He closed his eyes.

"Who are you?"

The voice answered:

"I am the reason you were born."

David opened his eyes.

Daniel suddenly grabbed his arm.

"Don't listen to it!"

David pulled away.

"Why?"

"Because that thing has been waiting for you."

David looked at the door.

"What does it want?"

Daniel answered:

"Your blood."

Suddenly, the door slammed shut.

Everyone jumped.

Then silence.

David looked at Daniel.

"You said you were my enemy."

Daniel nodded.

"Yes."

"But you just saved me."

Daniel looked away.

"Don't misunderstand me."

He walked toward the exit.

"I don't want you dead."

David followed him with his eyes.

"Then what do you want?"

Daniel stopped.

He turned around.

"I want the throne."

Then he disappeared into the darkness.

CHAPTER 5 — THE LETTER

Later that night, David sat alone in the underground chamber.

He couldn't sleep.

His entire life had changed in one night.

He had discovered that Richard wasn't his biological father.

He had found his real father alive.

He had discovered that he had an older brother.

And now he knew that something was trapped behind the ancient gate.

Grace entered quietly.

She sat beside him.

"I'm sorry."

David looked at her.

"Did you know about Daniel?"

Grace shook her head.

"No."

"Did you know my real father was alive?"

She wiped her tears.

"No."

David looked at her.

"Then what did you know?"

Grace remained silent.

David noticed something in her hand.

A small old envelope.

"What is that?"

Grace looked at it.

"Your father gave this to me the night you were born."

David took it.

His name was written on the front.

TO MY SON, DAVID. OPEN THIS WHEN YOU DISCOVER THE TRUTH.

David opened the letter.

Inside was only one sentence.

He read it aloud:

"David, if you are reading this, then Daniel has already found you."

David's heart began beating faster.

He continued reading.

"Do not trust your brother."

Suddenly—

CRASH!

The lights went out.

Grace screamed.

David stood up.

A voice whispered from behind them.

"Too late."

David turned around.

Two golden eyes appeared in the darkness.

But this time...

It wasn't Daniel.

A strange figure stepped forward.

He looked at David and smiled.

"The Gate is opening."

David stepped backward.

"Who are you?"

The stranger smiled.

"The man who killed your father."

David's eyes widened.

The room became completely silent.
Richard stood in front of David, unable to look into his son's eyes.
Grace was frozen.
David stared at his father with confusion.
"Say it again," David whispered.
Richard swallowed hard.
"I'm not your real father."
David took a step backward.
"No..."
Richard's eyes filled with tears.
"I'm sorry."
David shook his head.
"You are lying."
"I wish I was."
Grace suddenly turned toward Richard.
"You knew?"
Richard looked at her.
"Yes."
"You knew all these years that David wasn't your biological son?"
Richard nodded slowly.
Grace slapped him.
PAH!
"You lied to me for eighteen years!"
Richard didn't defend himself.
David looked from his mother to his father.
Then he asked the question that broke everyone's heart.
"Then who is my father?"
Richard looked at Ezekiel.
Ezekiel lowered his head.
"That," he said quietly, "is the secret your father was trying to protect."
Suddenly, the windows shattered.
CRASH!
Everyone ducked.
Marcus and the men in black had returned.
But this time, they were not alone.
Outside the house stood dozens of armed men.
Marcus smiled.
"Enough hiding."
CHAPTER 1 — THE ESCAPE
Ezekiel grabbed David's hand.
"We have to leave now!"
Richard shouted:
"Where are you taking my son?"
Ezekiel looked at him.
"Somewhere they cannot find him."
Richard stepped forward.
"He's my son!"
Ezekiel's voice became firm.
"Then stop acting like a father who has nothing to lose."
Richard became silent.
Ezekiel looked at David.
"David, listen carefully. Whatever happens tonight, do not use your power unless I tell you."
David frowned.
"What power?"
Ezekiel looked at the glowing mark on his chest.
"That."
David touched the mark.
"But I don't understand it."
"You will."
They rushed through a secret passage hidden beneath the old house.
Grace followed.
Richard stayed behind for a moment.
He looked at the men outside.
Then he looked at his family disappearing into the darkness.
He whispered:
"Forgive me."
He grabbed a small metal box and ran after them.
CHAPTER 2 — THE SECRET TUNNEL
The tunnel was old.
Water dripped from the ceiling.
The walls were covered with strange drawings.
David looked at them as they walked.
Suddenly, he stopped.
"Ezekiel."
"Yes?"
"I know this place."
Ezekiel turned.
"You've never been here."
David pointed at the wall.
"I saw it in my dream."
On the wall was a picture of a young boy standing before a golden throne.
Beside the boy were two men.
One was Ezekiel.
The other looked exactly like David.
David became confused.
"Who is that man?"
Ezekiel stared at the drawing.
His face changed.
"Your father."
Richard suddenly stopped walking.
Grace looked at him.
"You said you didn't know who David's father was."
Richard said nothing.
David slowly turned toward him.
"Daddy?"
Richard closed his eyes.
Ezekiel answered instead.
"That man is your biological father."
David looked at the drawing again.
"Where is he?"
Ezekiel's voice became low.
"He is dead."
David's face fell.
"When did he die?"
"The night you were born."
CHAPTER 3 — THE MAN WHO DIED FOR DAVID
They continued walking.
Richard finally opened the metal box he had carried from the house.
Inside was a small golden necklace.
David immediately recognized it.
"I've seen that before."
Richard gave it to him.
"This belonged to your real father."
David touched it.
The golden mark on his chest suddenly became brighter.
A vision appeared.
David saw a young man running through a forest while carrying a baby.
The man was bleeding.
Behind him were armed men.
He reached a woman.
"Take him," he said.
The woman began crying.
"What about you?"
"I will stop them."
The man kissed the baby's forehead.
Then he placed the golden necklace around the baby's neck.
David suddenly heard his voice.
"No matter what happens, protect my son."
The vision disappeared.
David opened his eyes.
Tears were running down his face.
"Who was that woman?"
Richard looked at Grace.
Grace covered her mouth.
Ezekiel answered:
"Your mother."
David looked at Grace.
"Mummy?"
Grace was crying.
"I wanted to tell you."
"Then why didn't you?"
Grace couldn't answer.
David turned away.
For the first time, he felt like his whole life had been a lie.
CHAPTER 4 — THE REAL NAME
They finally reached the end of the tunnel.
Ezekiel opened a huge iron door.
Beyond it was an underground chamber.
There were candles everywhere.
Ancient books covered the walls.
At the center was a large stone table.
Ezekiel placed the golden necklace on it.
Suddenly, the entire chamber lit up.
A voice echoed through the room.
"Blood of the first king detected."
David stepped backward.
"What was that?"
Ezekiel smiled.
"This place has been waiting for you."
David looked around.
"Why?"
"Because this is where your father was born."
Richard looked shocked.
"What?"
Ezekiel turned toward him.
"You never knew everything, Richard."
Richard became angry.
"You said David's father died eighteen years ago."
"He did."
"Then why is this place reacting to David?"
Ezekiel looked at David.
"Because your son's blood carries the power of the first king."
David frowned.
"What's my real name?"
Ezekiel hesitated.
Then he said:
"David Anderson is the name your family gave you."
He stepped closer.
"Your real name is David Arkon."
The room suddenly shook.
CHAPTER 5 — THE FIRST KING
Ezekiel opened an ancient book.
Inside were drawings of a powerful king wearing a golden crown.
His face looked strangely similar to David.
"This man was called King Arkon."
David stared at the picture.
"He looks like me."
"Because he is your ancestor."
"What happened to him?"
Ezekiel turned the page.
The next picture showed the kingdom burning.
"The ancient kingdom was attacked by five families who wanted the power of the Golden Throne."
"Did they win?"
"No."
"Then what happened?"
Ezekiel looked at Richard.
"King Arkon disappeared."
David frowned.
"Disappeared?"
"He didn't die."
Everyone became silent.
David's eyes widened.
"Then where is he?"
Ezekiel closed the book.
"Nobody knows."
David suddenly heard the mysterious voice again.
"Find me."
He looked around.
"Did you hear that?"
Everyone shook their heads.
"No."
David whispered:
"Someone is calling me."
CHAPTER 6 — MARCUS ATTACKS
Suddenly—
BOOM!
The iron door exploded.
Marcus walked into the chamber.
His red eyes were glowing.
"Beautiful."
Ezekiel stepped forward.
"You followed us."
Marcus smiled.
"You made it easy."
Behind Marcus were several armed men.
Richard stepped in front of Grace and David.
Marcus laughed.
"Still pretending to be his father?"
Richard clenched his fist.
"He is my son."
Marcus looked at David.
"Ask him what he did to your real father."
David turned toward Richard.
"What did you do?"
Richard's face became pale.
"I didn't kill your father."
Marcus laughed.
"Of course not."
He slowly walked closer.
"You only betrayed him."
David stared at Richard.
"Is that true?"
Richard couldn't answer.
Marcus smiled.
"Your father trusted Richard."
He pointed at Richard.
"And Richard gave him to the people who wanted him dead."
Grace screamed:
"That's not true!"
Marcus looked at her.
"Ask your husband."
David looked at Richard.
"Daddy..."
Richard finally spoke.
"I had no choice."
David's eyes filled with tears.
"You always had a choice."
CHAPTER 7 — THE BETRAYAL
Richard fell to his knees.
"Eighteen years ago, your real father came to me."
David listened.
"He knew they were coming for you."
Richard continued.
"He asked me to take you far away and raise you as my own."
"Then why did you betray him?"
Richard's voice broke.
"Because I was afraid."
"Afraid of what?"
"The five families."
Richard looked at Ezekiel.
"They threatened to kill Grace."
Grace's eyes widened.
"You never told me that."
"I was trying to protect you."
Richard looked at David.
"Your father gave me one job."
"What job?"
"To keep you alive."
David's anger slowly disappeared.
Richard continued:
"I took you away that night. I changed your name. I made everyone believe you were my son."
David whispered:
"So you really did protect me."
Richard nodded.
"Every single day."
David walked toward Richard.
For a moment, they stared at each other.
Then David hugged him.
Richard began crying.
"I'm sorry."
David whispered:
"You are still my father."
Marcus became furious.
"Enough!"
He raised his hand.
"Take the boy!"
CHAPTER 8 — DAVID'S POWER AWAKENS
The men rushed forward.
Ezekiel shouted:
"David!"
David turned.
"Remember what I told you!"
The men grabbed him.
Suddenly, the golden mark on David's chest exploded with light.
BOOOOOOM!
A powerful wave threw everyone across the room.
The candles went out.
Marcus crashed against the wall.
Richard fell to the ground.
Grace screamed:
"David!"
When the smoke cleared, David was standing in the center.
His eyes were glowing gold.
The necklace around his neck was floating in the air.
Ancient symbols appeared across the walls.
Ezekiel stared at him.
"He has awakened."
Marcus slowly stood up.
For the first time, he looked afraid.
"No..."
David looked at him.
"You came for me."
Marcus stepped backward.
"Don't come near me."
David walked forward.
"Why are you afraid?"
Marcus suddenly ran.
David raised his hand.
Marcus was lifted from the ground.
He struggled.
"What are you?"
David's voice changed.
"I am David."
The chamber shook.
"And you should have left my family alone."
David released him.
Marcus crashed through the iron door and disappeared into the darkness.
The other men ran.
Silence returned.
CHAPTER 9 — THE MESSAGE
Ezekiel walked toward David.
"Your power is growing faster than I expected."
David looked at him.
"What am I supposed to do with it?"
"Learn to control it."
"From who?"
Ezekiel smiled.
"From the person who has been waiting for you."
David frowned.
"Who?"
Before Ezekiel could answer, the ancient throne in the chamber began moving.
A hidden wall opened.
Behind it was a narrow staircase leading deeper underground.
At the bottom was another door.
This one was different.
It had the same golden symbol as David's mark.
Ezekiel looked terrified.
"Nobody has opened that door in eighteen years."
David walked toward it.
"What is behind it?"
Ezekiel whispered:
"The answer to everything."
David placed his hand on the door.
The moment he touched it—
BOOM!
The entire underground chamber shook.
The golden necklace flew from his neck and entered the door.
The door opened slowly.
A cold wind came from inside.
Then David heard a man's voice.
A voice he had heard before.
The same voice from his dreams.
"My son..."
David froze.
He looked at Ezekiel.
"That voice..."
Ezekiel's eyes filled with tears.
"Yes."
David whispered:
"That's my father's voice."
CHAPTER 10 — THE BIGGEST SHOCK
David stepped through the door.
Inside was a huge dark room.
At the center was a man sitting on a stone chair.
His clothes were old.
His hair was long.
His face was covered in shadows.
David slowly moved closer.
"Who are you?"
The man lifted his head.
David stopped breathing.
The man's face was exactly the same as the face in the ancient picture.
The same face he had seen in his vision.
The man smiled.
"David."
David's eyes filled with tears.
"Father?"
The man stood up.
"I have been waiting eighteen years to see you."
Richard and Grace stood at the doorway in complete shock.
Ezekiel dropped to his knees.
"Your Majesty."
David stared at the man.
"You're alive?"
The man smiled.
"Yes."
Then his expression suddenly became serious.
"But there is something you must know."
David stepped closer.
"What?"
His father looked toward Richard.
"Your destiny is not to rule the kingdom."
Everyone became silent.
"Then what is my destiny?"
The man looked directly into David's eyes.
"To stop the person who is coming for you."
David frowned.
"Who?"
The man slowly pointed toward the darkness behind David.
"Your older brother."
David's face went pale.
"I have a brother?"
The lights suddenly went out.
A man's laughter echoed through the chamber.
Then a deep voice whispered:
"Little brother... I have finally found you."
David turned around.
A tall shadow was standing at the entrance.
Two golden eyes opened in the darkness.
