This week, the biggest lesson came from a mistake I didn’t expect to make—I assumed that understanding a concept meant I could easily apply it. When I tried to put theory into practice, I got stuck and confused, which forced me to rethink my approach.
The assumption I had to question was that “knowing” automatically equals “doing.” I realized they are not the same. True understanding only shows when you can apply knowledge to real situations, solve problems, and adapt when things don’t go as planned.
What became clear is that mistakes are not setbacks—they are part of the learning process. That confusion pushed me to slow down, break problems into smaller parts, and think more critically instead of rushing to solutions.
Going forward, I will focus more on practicing what I learn, asking questions when I’m unsure, and embracing mistakes as a tool for growth rather than something to avoid.
