This is all about yesterday world kidney day celebration. In attendance are professor Aliyu Abdu the HOD Neprology unit Aminu Kano teaching hospital together with CNO AKTH, the secretary Bade elders forum, Hon Commissioner Ministry of Agriculture, students representatives from various secondary schools and some civil society organisations base in gashua were in attendance we spent time and ideas during the exercise. Meanwhile your kidneys are vital organ that need special care. Keep fit, Be active, Eat a healthy diet, Check and control your blood sugar, Take appropriate fluid intake, Don’t smoke, Don’t take over-the-counter anti-inflammatory/pain-killer pills regularly, Get your kidney function checked if you have one or more of the ‘high risk’ factors(hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and you have a family history of kidney disease)
