ZONE B ERUPTS FOR BMW: POTISKUM TOWN HALL DECLARES TOTAL, UNWAVERING SUPPORT FOR ALHAJI BABA MALLAM WALI, mni
The march to a greater Yobe State has become a movement. The BMW Strategic Alliance, the foremost grassroots mobilization structure for Alhaji Baba Mallam Wali, mni, Governorship Candidate of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Insha Allah, the incoming Executive Governor of Yobe State, made history with a massive and electrifying Zone B Town Hall Meeting in Potiskum.
The landmark meeting held on Friday, 25th July, 2026 at the Skills Acquisition Center, Potiskum LGA.
Homage to Tradition, Humility in Leadership
In line with our cherished values of respect for traditional institutions and humility in service, the Alliance leadership led by the indefatigable State Coordinator, Amb. Amina Abdu Waziri Nguru, paid a royal courtesy visit to His Royal Highness, the Emir of Fika and His Royal Highness, the Emir of Potiskum on Thursday, 24th July, 2026.
The visit was to seek their royal blessings, fatherly prayers and wise guidance ahead of the historic gathering - because we believe power must always bow to tradition.
A True Picture of the New Yobe
Potiskum did not just host a meeting; Potiskum made a statement. It was a powerful convergence of hope, unity and shared destiny.
The hall overflowed with a true representation of Yobe: over 20 registered Political Support Groups, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the Federation of Muslim Women Associations in Nigeria (FOMWAN), Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), vibrant Youth Vanguard, Women Mobilizers, Elders, Students and critical grassroots stakeholders.
Religion, gender and ability disappeared. What remained was one people, one voice, one message: IT IS TIME TO MOVE FORWARD WITH BMW!
In the spirit of solidarity and appreciation for their sacrifice and loyalty, tokens of support in cash and kind were presented to the support groups to boost their mobilization capacity.
The Charge: PVC is Our Power
The central agenda was clear: PVC Sensitization and Aggressive Grassroots Mobilization. Participants were charged that the Permanent Voters Card (PVC) is the only weapon the talakawa have to secure jobs for our teeming youth, empower our women, uplift our farmers and guarantee a prosperous Yobe for our children.
The Alliance unanimously resolved to take the Renewed Hope and Moving Forward message of our principal, Alhaji Baba Mallam Wali, mni, to every Senatorial Zone, every LGA, every ward, every polling unit, every household and every doorstep.
Zone B Has Spoken
The unprecedented turnout, the deafening chants, and the raw passion in Potiskum is undeniable proof that Zone B is fully mobilized, fully aligned, and fully ready to deliver a resounding victory for BMW and the APC.
We thank the good, resilient and hospitable people of Zone B for this historic show of love.
You will recall that this crusade berthed successfully in Zone C, Nguru LGA on 11th July, 2026. The train of hope is now set to storm Zone A Senatorial District in the coming days. The journey to reclaim Yobe's greatness has begun and no one will be left behind.
BMW is the future. APC is the vehicle. Yobe will Move Forward!
