*Gov Radda Sports Vision Yields Partnership with Bondy Academy in France.*

Katsina State Government, under the visionary leadership of Malam Dikko Umaru Radda PhD CON, has achieved another milestone in sports development through partnership between Katsina Football Academy and the renowned Bondy Academy of France, the training ground that produced football sensation Kylian Mbappé.

This strategic alliance was secured during a recent diplomatic sports mission to Paris, France by delegation from Katsina State.

The partnership will create direct pathways for talented young footballers from Katsina to top European clubs through the prestigious French academy system.

The historic agreement was finalized days after Governor Radda was honoured with a prestigious Nigeria-France Sports Awards by OJB Media Network in Paris, France.

The Governor's delegation, comprising the Honorable Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Hon. Lawal Aliyu Zakari; the Chairman of the House Committee on Sports, Katsina State House of Assembly, Hon. Sani Mustapha Bello and the Chairman of Katsina Football Academy, Ahmed Mohammed, successfully negotiated this transformative partnership.

Going forward, Bondy Academy has scheduled a scouting program in Katsina for February 2025, demonstrating the academy's immediate commitment to identifying and nurturing local talent.

"This partnership is not just about football; it's about creating lasting opportunities for our youth and putting Katsina State on the global sports map," stated Chairman Katsina Football Academy, Ahmed Mohammed.

"Our investment in sports development is yielding tangible results, and this collaboration with Bondy Academy is a testament to Governor Radda commitment to sports excellence," Mohammed added.

This achievement follows Governor Radda's sustained investments in sports infrastructure and youth development programmes across Katsina State.

KTSG Flagged off the disbursement of over 4 Billion to 800,000 Women to encourage Routine Immunization As Gov Radda Commissions Routine Immunization Centre

The Executive Governor of Katsina State, His Excellency, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda PhD CON, has taken a monumental step towards improving healthcare in the state by flagging the disbursement of over four billion naira to more than eight hundred thousand women whose children completed routine immunizations and those to enroll thereafter.This is in collaboration with *New Incentives all babies are equal, an international NGO working with the state.

The disbursement ceremony coincided with the official commissioning of a coordinating centre for routine immunizations at the state Primary Healthcare Agency headquarters in Katsina. The event also saw the distribution of one hundred and sixty-three motorcycles for Primary Health Care services and the commissioning of an ultra modern Incinerator, further bolstering the state's healthcare infrastructure.

In his address, Governor Radda pledged ongoing collaboration with development partners, stakeholders, and communities to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of healthcare initiatives in the state. He emphasized, "The distribution of motorcycles, carried out in partnership with development partners, aims to improve coverage of routine immunization as part of a broader effort to ensure comprehensive healthcare delivery."

The Governor appealed to parents and caregivers in the state to participate in the ongoing Polio immunization exercise, which targets over three million children below the age of five. This appeal highlights the administration's focus on preventive healthcare measures and child health.

Under Governor Radda's leadership, the Katsina State Government has demonstrated a renewed determination to enhance healthcare services. This commitment is evidenced by the ongoing upgrade and renovation of one hundred and two primary health centres across the state. "Our administration plans to elevate four additional Primary Health Centers to the status of general hospitals to significantly expand access to advanced medical care throughout Katsina," Governor Radda said.

He, however, urged the beneficiaries of both the motorcycles and the funds to utilize these resources judiciously for the benefit of their communities.

Dr. Shamsuddeen Yahaya, the State Executive Secretary of the Primary Healthcare Development Agency, used the occasion to advocate for the implementation of a replacement policy for healthcare workers in the state. This request was made in light of the increasing number of health personnel retiring from service, creating a widening gap in the healthcare workforce.He also appealed for upward review of the allowance of casual workers in the state and LGAs.

Also speaking, the State Commissioner of Health, Hon. Musa Adamu Funtua, commended Governor Radda for his strategic policy direction aimed at repositioning the health sector for greatness.

These comprehensive healthcare initiatives demonstrate the Katsina State Government's holistic approach to improving public health, from grassroots immunization efforts to the expansion of advanced medical facilities across the state.
