Yola is the immediate territory of direct jurisdiction of the Madaki.A hierarchical organisational structure for the Supervision and Coordination of the Yola administration exists,normally.The title and functions the Madaki assigns to his officials generally replicate the titles and functions of the Emirate officials.Such titles like Galadima,Turaki,Ciroma and Others of Yola are given to Yola title holders and they Owe allegiance and loyalty to the person and Sarauta of Madaki..
Yola is Socially a Melting Pot , because it absorbed and assimilated the anguwanni that surround it , Chiefly Darma Agadasawa,and Alkantara.Many of the title holders and Sarakai whose titles and authority developed and emaneted from the Madaki like Sarkin Shanu ,Dan Madami,Dan Kadai, Magajin Rafi,Dan Makwayo,Wakilin Shawara,and other Wakilai resides in some of the neighboring Anguwanni.The rulers as well as the Talakawa's over the years developed into a unique and respectable Community,trusting and respecting each other, sharing a common prestige of Scholarship and Communal togetherness.The significance of Yola was further enhanced by the construction in 1928 of a road from Kofar Mata to the Centripetal Kurmi Market through the main Street that devides Yola in to Two.
