_*Dear Esteemed Lawsanites,*_

Thursday, 23rd of January, remains an unforgettable day in the lives of many at Lawsa PaaU. The newly admitted students were oriented and inducted into the Lawsa community. The event was characterized by engaging activities. At the inception, a number of the newly admitted students stood up to share their transformative journey into the faculty. No doubt, their tales of determination and resilience remain a force to reckon with. Also, the rules of the faculty were effectively communicated to them, and they were taught how to calculate their CGPA. That was not all; the event was packed with engaging activities like debates, spoken word performances, music talents, among others. It was an event that not only provided a platform for showcasing oratory skills and confidence but also an opportunity for Lawsanites to engage with each other and build connections. Then came the highlight of the day, which was the Mr. and Miss Lawsa competition. The energy and enthusiasm amongst the contestants were second to none. The winners were duly crowned, and certificates of participation were presented to all those who participated in the debate and Mr. and Miss Lawsa contest, signed by the President and Director of Socials. Congratulations to Caleb Sh*tu and Apeh Eneojo, our Mr. and Miss Lawsa 2025. Shoutout to the Director of Socials/Welfare, Oyibo Goodness Unekwuojo, for organizing the program aimed at fostering creativity, excellence, and community spirit. Many thanks to the President, Vice President, and all the team for their collective effort in bringing such a wonderful event to reality. Well done, Suleiman Saratu, for your excellent moderating skills. Special thanks to everyone who graced the event with their presence. All these would not have been possible without you.

It was a peaceful exercise as LAWSANites came out in their numbers to vote for their preferred candidate. LAWSA appreciate each and every LAWSANites who came out to exercise their franchise.

I want to bring to your notice that the 2024 LAWSAN Election for PAAU Chapter officially begins today, the 19th day of January, 2024.
All interested parties should note that nomination forms are now on sale for the respective positions they wish to aspire for.
All intrested parties should reach out to the ELCOM members in his/her constituency to get the nomination form.
