I've Obeyed the Clarion Call

With a heart full of gratitude and a spirit of unwavering determination, I proudly announce that I have obeyed the Clarion call! On the 24th of January 2025, I was sworn in as a Corps member, taking my place among the vibrant youths of this great nation, united under the banner of Service and Humility.

This journey is not just a duty but a privilege—an opportunity to serve my fatherland with dedication, resilience, and integrity. In this noble cause, I have pledged to give my best, to contribute meaningfully to the development of the community I am called to serve, and to uphold the values of unity and progress.

I am grateful to be part of this noble scheme, standing shoulder to shoulder with fellow Corps members, each of us a symbol of hope and unity for our beloved nation. Together, we embody the promise of a brighter tomorrow, where our collective efforts will strengthen the foundation of Nigeria’s greatness.

Here’s to serving with purpose, growing with passion, and embracing the journey ahead. May this season of service be a testament to our unwavering commitment to the ideals of the National Youth Service Corps.

Three years ago, we signed out of Delta State University, Abraka, as graduates of Political Science Education (PSE2022). I was scrolling through my Facebook memories today and stumbled on pictures of that memorable day, filled with joy, hope, and dreams. That day marked the beginning of a new chapter for us all.

Fast forward to now, and life has taken us on different paths. Some of us are working, others are married, some have completed their NYSC and are seeking opportunities, while others are building businesses from scratch. Yet, no matter the road we have chosen, one thing remains true: we were shaped by the experiences we shared and the lessons we learned in school.

From the classroom debates to late-night study sessions and the friendships we built, every moment contributed to the strong individuals we are becoming. Today, I celebrate all my colleagues for their resilience, growth, and determination to keep pushing forward.

As we continue this journey of life, may we stay strong, healthy, and unwavering in the pursuit of our dreams. Here's to more achievements, greater successes, and unending joy in all our endeavors.
