Progress Recorded on Ngowm–Mafa Road Project in Borno

Significant progress has been recorded on the ongoing Ngowm–Mafa Road project in Mafa Local Government Area of Borno State, as construction activities intensify on the critical route.

The Chief Executive Officer of Dan Nene Construction Transportation And Services Limited, Ambassador Engineer Mohammed Yalli Bello, on Wednesday led his team in advancing asphalt overlay works along the corridor. Construction operations for the day commenced from the last checkpoint in Mafa, moving steadily towards Ngowm.

Field reports indicate that the project is progressing smoothly, with a strong emphasis on quality delivery and strict adherence to professional standards. The ongoing work is expected to enhance road durability, improve safety, and boost connectivity for communities within the axis.

In a show of support, the Executive Governor of Borno State, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, visited the project site and commended the construction team for their dedication and consistency. The Governor particularly acknowledged the hands-on leadership of the company’s CEO and expressed satisfaction with the pace of work toward meeting the project timeline.

The Ngowm–Mafa Road project is considered a vital infrastructure development aimed at easing transportation and stimulating economic activities across the region.

In politics, true service is not driven by personal ambition or the expectation of returns from the people.

For over three years, by the grace of Almighty Allah, we have consistently supported and uplifted people without fatigue or hesitation. Our actions are not motivated by personal gain, but by a sincere desire to show gratitude to Allah and to our leader, our mentor, whose trust and support have given us the opportunity to serve humanity.

Our loyalty to Governor Dan-Moɗi remains unwavering - whether in power or not, whether in contest or otherwise. We take pride in his exemplary leadership, his character, and his genuine concern for the welfare of the people, especially the less privileged.
