Biafra: Uwazuruike Seeks The Release Of His Detained Member In Owerri Police Custody
Declares His Members Innocent, Harmless Members Of A Peaceful Organization
RALPH UWAZURUIKE, The Leader of BIM -MASSOB, seeks immediate release of Pastor James Igboke who has been in police custody at the Tiger Base, Shell Camp Station, Owerri, on alleged membership of indigenous people of Biafra, IPoB.
The leader of the 46th - member -State of Unrecognized Nations and People's Organizations, UNPO , Chief Ralph Uwazuruike who disclosed this to Newsmen in a statement signed by his Director of information Mazi Chris Mocha, said his member was arrested on Tuesday on his way to attend his meeting at Ojukwu memorial library, Area G, new Owerri.
"Permit me to inform the Police authorities that for any of my member allegedly to be in possession of membership identity card of MASSOB did not in any way constituted an offence known to law stressing that ID card bearing my signature was not an Ak-47 riffle," he said.
He debunked the said police assertion that the pastor is a member of indigenous people of Biafra or its affiliated armed wing, ESN, declaring his detained member innocent and a harmless member of BİM-MASSOB , a peaceful Organization that is not a threat to anyone or the State
Uwazuruike frowned at the continued detention of his member who has spent about 3 days in solitary confinement, and demanded for his quick release from police custody.
