This video shows Nigerian Federal troops created a bridge to march towards Ore, (present day Ondo State) attacking Biafra Rebel Forces during the Nigerian Civil war (1967-1970). At the end, Nigerian Army captured Ore and chased Biafra Rebel eastwards.

The Aba women riots was a violent trading and farming women uprisings in the Eastern (Igboland) of Colonial Nigeria against British government imposition of tax. This was alien to the female Enterprising folks who resist this act of exploitation. Protest started from Aba and spreads to Opobo up to Calabar. The violent started from November to December 1929 when the British Colonial government reformed the unpopular taxation system. Watch the ugly event as it happened decades ago on this channel. Mansa Musa (1312-1337) was the 14th-century emperor of the Mali Empire, renowned as possibly the richest person in history. His immense wealth, derived from the empire's gold and salt mines, was showcased during his famous 1324 pilgrimage to Mecca, where his lavish spending significantly impacted local economies. He also transformed Mali's cities like Timbuktu into major centers of culture and learning by building mosques and universities.

This storytelling video explains how Emperor Menelik the second mobilized Ethiopians to defend Ethiopia from Italian Colonial forces. His modernization policies on education, transportation, roads, Telecommunications were highlighted on this video. Ethiopia is the only African country who defeated and successfully repelled colonial forces in the 19th century. However, in the 1930s, the Italians came with full forces and conquered Ethiopia under Emperor Haille Sellesie. That will be discussed on our next series.

How their land grabbing started from the hinterland and the various wars between indigenous Khoi-khoi people and the White Boers. The British Colonization of South Africa forced the Boers to withdraw into the hinterlands popularly known as the Great treks of 1850. Watch history as it happened on this page.

This storytelling video narrates how the Dutch Boers accidentally arrived South Africa cape on April 1652. They started grabbing lands and fencing them to be farming and trading. The British took control of South Africa in 1830s and this led to the mass migration of the Boers (Great treks) from the coast to the hinterland. This further deepens the inter racial crisis in the country as can be seen today.
