Be careful out there, my people. A former National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, Agbakoba Tony, has reportedly been killed in Onitsha, Anambra State, barely a month after completing his service in Delta State.

Tony was employed at a bank and he shared the good news with his friends. And on this particular day at his family house in Onitsha, Anambra State, he was washing his clothes in readiness for his resumption and he got a call from his friends. They had asked him to meet them up at a location. He dropped his clothes and left to join his friends but he never returned.

Tony never returned but the family got the sad news of his death. It was too shocking to believe. Tony was allegedly strangled to death by the same friends he had joyfully left home and what he was doing to meet up with.

Jealousy took over the better part of his friends who were angry that after graduating years before Tony without a job, the same Tony had just been too fortunate to secure a job immediately after passing out of NYSC.
