KELGA CHAIRMAN ATTENDS A TRAINING WORKSHOP FOR CTC CHAIRMEN AND MEMBERS

The Caretaker Chairman of ikwerre local Government local government area of Rivers State, Dr Amb Darlington orji jp , today joined other Caretaker Chairmen, members and principal officers in Rivers State to attend a training workshop.

The training which is organised by the Rivers State Ministry of local Government Affairs with the theme: Enhancing Public Governance, is aimed at capacity building and exposing the members and principal officers to their functions and responsibilities at the local government level.

The training which started on the 29th of August, 2024, at the NBA conference hall, Moscow Road, Port harcourt, is billed to end on the 30th of August.

The training had in attendance the Commissioner for local government affairs, Hon. Charles Beke, directors in the ministry, resource persons, Caretaker committee Chairmen and members.

GOV. SIMINALAYE FUBARA GSSRS ATTEND TO THE NEEDS OF THE AGED FATHERS, MOTHERS, VULNERABLE, DOWNTRODDEN AND LESS PRIVILEGED IN IKWERRE LGA THROUGH HON. DR. DARLINGTON OJI.

The Caretaker Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Council, Hon. Dr. Darlington Oji paid an unscheduled visit to Omerelu, Omuanwa, Ozuaha, Omagwa, and Aluu communities, respectively.

The Council boss on the instruction and mandate given to him by Executive Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency, Sir Siminalaye Fubara GSSRS to put smiles on the faces of his people. Dr. Oji doled out cash to the aged mothers and fathers, the vulnerable, downtrodden, and the less privileged. Sone of the beneficiaries shade tears of joy in commemoration of the Chairman's kind gesture and magnanimity.

Prayers of peace, unity and progress of the state were offered.
