God's General Visits His Maker

By: John Amaowoh

I heard it far away!

I heard it from many airwaves, Sounds 'N Whispering,

As if it was not true, that u 've Kissed the night goodbye!

Talks in streets corners, sounding as a tale told amidst the deaf, blind and dumb, but it was the truth that u 've taken a long walk to see ur Creator one one!

As it was confirmed in the end that ur departure was indeed the truth,

That u took that walk silent N calm,

Though u 've long foreseen,

That u shall go to ur Creator Soon!

Could this be the end?

Could this be the way of all men?

Well, it's an enigma, an unexplainable Journey that every man must take!

I read it, but didn't believe it,

I searched the net 'n handles,

Oh oh,then I found that it was the truth! That reality speaks!

I may not 've been ur ardent follower,

But, ur words shape the heart, u preached so bold like a thunder storm in the mist of striking rain, though ur generation are rare, u stood talk amongst ur equal,

Oh death where is thy sting?

In glory u came,

In glory u returned, Though in suffering 'N in joy!

On that equal path,

U came, u saw 'N u conquered!

I see the angels rejoicing,

Welcoming u onboard the heavenly Kingdom,

Ur memory will lives on!

Adieu God's General, Rev.(Dr.) Uma Ukpai!
