How 90% of Us Newbies Failed in Arbitrage Blogging in 2022 Under a Nigerian Blogging OG—Despite Paying Millions of Naira Each

We didn't fail because the OG didn’t know what he was doing—we failed because he didn’t explain everything the way he should have. His focus seemed to be more on the money than on truly guiding us. And honestly, the proper guidance is something every mentor or teacher must do for their students.

Each of us paid millions of naira for the mentorship, only to realize that the money covered only the teaching. Afterwards, he started suggesting that those with extra funds should buy fully verified AdSense accounts and websites. For those of us who couldn’t afford that, he encouraged us to buy new websites, create content, and apply for AdSense ourselves.

But out of every 10 students who applied, about 8 were rejected, even after following his advice. The remaining 2 who bought an already approved AdSense account and website saw little to no results. Eventually, complaints began to rise, and some of us were even removed from the group.

The reason I’m sharing this is simple: as a teacher or mentor, before collecting money from anyone, please explain everything upfront. Be clear about what’s involved. If the person still decides to go ahead, then that’s fair.

Yes, failure is a part of success, but repeated failure caused by a lack of proper guidance doesn’t guarantee success.

Someone asked me this question on Quora, he said "Do you think teachers will be replaced in the future?" and this is my answer...

No, not fully. Technology might change how we teach, but it can’t replace why we teach.

Here’s the thing: you can automate content delivery. You can use AI to grade essays, explain math problems, or even create lesson plans. That’s already happening. But teaching is more than just delivering information. It’s about connection.

A teacher notices when a quiet student is struggling, when someone’s confidence is slipping, when a class is bored or anxious, or when it needs a laugh. A good teacher adapts in real time, not just based on data, but on feeling. That’s human. That’s irreplaceable.

Can AI teach facts? Yes.
Can AI inspire, mentor, or believe in a kid when no one else does? Not really.

In the future, I think we’ll see teachers working with technology, not against it. AI might take some of the routine tasks off teachers' plates so they can focus more on what matters — building relationships, encouraging critical thinking, and helping students grow not just academically but personally.

So, will the role of teachers change? Absolutely.
Will they disappear? No. Because kids don’t just need knowledge. They need people who care.

Easter is a special time for many, filled with meaning, joy, and tradition. But did you know not everyone celebrates it? Some follow other faiths, some don’t practice religion, and others have different cultural customs altogether.

And that’s the beauty of our world, it’s diverse!

Moral of the story: Whether you celebrate Easter, Holi, Nowruz, or simply enjoy the season, what matters most is respect, empathy, and unity. Let’s embrace our differences and celebrate the love that connects us all.

Happy Easter Monday to those who are celebrating.
